Dan's POV

It's finally happening.

Holyshitholyshitholyshit.

I don't know what comes over me, shoving the usual awkward, shy version of myself straight out and taking its place. I've become a starving lion, (Y/n) the only meal I've seen in days.

Before I know it, she's pulling at the hem of my shirt, and I pull away just for a second in order to quickly pull it over my head, and she discards it to the side.

My heart is thumping as I do the same, grabbing the bottom of her knit jumper. As my hands brush her bare abdomen, I feel her shiver just a bit, which only turns me on more, as she haphazardly helps me pull her sweater off, and I throw it to the ground.

We stand up, our bodies still together as one, our feet clumsily dancing on the popcorn-covered floor, stumbling over the furniture until I have her against the wall.

"Mph," She lets out a small squeak, and I'm instantly petrified that I've only just hurt her.

"Are you alright?" I hurriedly ask. "I'm sorry, I-" but she quickly cuts me off with a loud laugh.

"Shut up," she cuts me off with a demanding tone, and without even giving me a second to be surprised, she dives right back into me.

I run my lips teasingly down her jaw and onto her shoulder, knowing that's the best way to get a reaction from her. She lets out a sigh, but the next thing I know, her hands are on my chest, pushing me away, her eyes wide with fear.

"Are you alright? Did I do something?" I stammer hurriedly, immediately thinking I did something wrong, something that triggered her. However, all she does is bark a 'sh' at me to be silent, and pulls me back into the lounge. She chucks my shirt at my chest, stumbling to pull her own sweater over her head. I get the hint now, that she must've either seen or heard something that tells her Dodie and Phil are back, and I pull my shirt over my head. The second I wiggle my arms through the holes, I hear the door click open, and someone cautiously pushing it ajar.

Why would they be cautious with the door?

I suddenly look at (Y/n), and the color draining from her face tells me we've both just come to the same realization.

"It's him," she breathes, her voice cracking. Before I even have time to come up with an actual plan, I tiptoe to the entryway of the lounge, peaking into the foyer to see the intruder.

However, it's not someone I'd ever even expect to see again, much less break into my apartment.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" I snarl, and PJ's expression turns to confusion, to fear, to anger. I only then notice (Y/n) behind me, trembling slightly.

"I've come to take back what's mine," he growls.

"And what might that be?" The words feel like acid on my tongue, and if (Y/n) wasn't virtually attached to my arm, I'm sure I would've already lunged at him.

"She's standing right behind you."

"Holyshitholyshitholyshit," (Y/n) whispers in a small voice, only audible to me because of how close her mouth is to my ear, her own trembling sending vibrations through my body.

"Leave. Right now," I growl through gritted teeth.

PJ only lets out a maniacal laugh. "Yeah, right. I didn't go through all this trouble for nothing. And you can't expect me to believe you're not gonna report me after this."

"What do you want, PJ?" (Y/n) pleads from behind me. "Why are you doing this?"

"Because I want you back," he says in a casual tone, shrugging his shoulders as if this was as obvious as the sky being blue. I clench my jaw furiously, and take a step toward PJ, causing (Y/n)'s arm to detach from mine.
