Chapter 6 part 2

Demi POV

A couple weeks have passed. Being home as been amazing but I'm ready to get back into the studio. I have a meeting with my manager tomorrow so I'm flying out to LA right now. I get there and the first place I go is to get Starbucks. Then I go to my house. Nobody's there. Everyone's in Texas so I get the house to myself until my parents come up tomorrow with the rest of my things and then I'll move into the sober living home. The next day comes and I get to the studio. My manager isn't here yet so I decide to call Gracie. I haven't talked to her since she left the facility and that was like two weeks ago. She ended up leaving a couple days after me which was good for her. I could tell she made progress. I dial her number and call her.

Gracie POV

I'm watching Cole do a magic trick with cards when my phone rings.

"It's Demi!" I say excited. Cole nods and stops the trick. I answer. "Hello?" I say answering.

"Hey. I'm in LA and my manager isn't here so I wanted to call and see how you were."

"I'm good. What about you?"

"Good. I miss seeing you though. You remind me of my little sister." She says. I smile.

"How old is your sister?" I ask forgetting.

"She's nine right now but she's very mature for her age."

"Cool." We talk for a little bit and I look over at Colton staring off into space. "... Hey. Colton's here. Wanna say hi?" I say. Colton shakes his head.

"Uh... That's okay." Demi says.

"C'mon..." I say giving Colton the phone. He sighs.

"Hello..." He says. I sit here and smile proud of myself. Excuse the hell out of me but I want them together! I love Colton and Demi is like a sister to me... Of course that's weird to have your brother and sister date but she's not my real sister so it's all good.
