Chapter 21 part 2

Demi POV

I get back from Puerto Rico and turn my phone on. Still nothing from Colton. I call Gracie but she doesn't answer either. They're probably asleep since it is early. I ended up staying an extra night and just leaving early in the morning. I get to my house and let the dogs get to know each other. Winston automatically falls on the dog bed and I laugh. He must be tired. I let Remington and Barkley and go outside. Dallas walks in with her bags. She's staying until her flight to Texas takes off at the end of the week. She gets comfortable and I go in the kitchen and make a snack.

"Demi!" I hear Dallas yell. I walk out and see the tv.

"Demi Lovato's Boyfriend Colton Oake, a former performer on Americas Got Talent has been getting himself into a bit of trouble. Last week he was seen fighting with a guy outside of a bar. The guy decided not to press charges after these marks were left on his face after Colton started hitting him behind this bar..." They show a picture of the bar and a picture of the guys face. He has a black eye and a busted lip.

"After that incident Colton was found two nights ago drunk driving. He has been charged with a DUI but was released early the next morning. Despite all that, Colton has lost custody of his three year old son Corey, and his sixteen year old sister Grace. They are now with their grandparents in Canada. More on this story after this." The lady says with a smile at the end.

"You go to Puerto Rico for two nights and you miss so much..."

"Dallas this isn't funny." I say grabbing my phone. I spend an hour talking to his lawyers and my lawyers. I walk out into the living room.

"What now?" Dallas asks.

"I'm getting custody of them until Colton can get it back."

"When do you get them?"

"Their flying out tomorrow." I say sitting down.

"Where's Colton."

"I have no idea and I don't really care." I say closing my eyes. "I'm gonna take a nap."

"Okay."
