Chapter 44 part 1-3

Demi POV

Well I'm eating inside with Dallas, Marissa and a few of my closet friends I feel pressure. I notice my water broke and so does everyone around me. Dallas claps excited and Marissa and I stare at her. She finishes and smiles. Marissa and I laugh. "I guess I'll go get Colton." I nod. She goes and Marissa helps me get my things together phone and key wise. I can't remember what I did with my damn car keys. Colton comes in with Dallas and sits next to me. "You okay?" He asks. "Yeah. I just want to know what I did with my keys." I say. "We'll find out. Are you hurting anywhere?" "No. Not now." He nods and helps me up. "Got em." Marissa says giving Colton my keys. "Can you get mom?" I ask Dallas. She nods and gets her. My mom runs in and comes to me. "Can you ride with me?" I ask her nervous. She nods. Dallas and Marissa stay to clear out the baby shower while Colton and Mom get into the car. I sit in the back with Colton while my mom drives. "How you doing?" He asks. "Alright." I say bouncing my leg. "Nervous?" I nod. "Don't be..." He says taking my hand. He nods and I smile before giving him a kiss. "Pains starting to kick in." I say leaning against him and laying my head on his shoulder. He rubs my back and talks to me making me feel better the whole way to the hospital.

Chapter 38 part 2

Colton POV

We get to the hospital and she gets to a room while I sign a bunch of things for her. I also text Dallas and ask her to pick Corey up and bring him to hospital. I get to go back once their done getting her set up. I go in and she's laying in bed, Diana by her side. I pull up a chair and sit next to her. "Hey beautiful." I say. She looks at me and I laugh. "What?" He asks. "Nothing." Soon a lot of people show up. Dallas with Corey and Rob, Maddie with Drew and Bea, Eddie, Marissa, and then Grace is flying out tonight. A couple hours pass and Demi starts to get irritable. Everyone decides to leave and give us space. It's late that night so Dallas takes Corey home. I told him when he wakes up he'll have a new baby sister. He's excited. They all leave and Demi gets checked. It's finally time to meet my baby girl. They get Demi prepped. I stand by the bed holding her hand. Her mom doing the same. Eddie stayed too but isn't in the room. "I'm regretting not getting the epidural." She says. "It'll be over before you know it." I say kissing her head. "I love you." "I love you." She says. She starts pushing and the doctor counts. Right now I'm beyond nervous. Demi's squeezing my hand, I'm trying to comfort her, the doctors and nurses keep saying stuff I don't understand and I'm just thinking about how close I am to holding our little girl in my arms. I'm broken from my thoughts by a cry. I look down and see my baby girl being put on top of Demi as she's breathing hard with her head tilted back relaxing. Demi looks down at her stomach. The nurses are cleaning her off with the blanket on top of her. Demi holds her for a few seconds crying. "Dad?" I hear the doctor say. I look and he's holding up scissors. I take them and cut the cord where he tells me too. They take her and go to weigh her and finish cleaning her off. I kiss Demi's head. Our daughter, Makenzie Rhys, is finally here... {A/N: Middle name pronounced like "Reese"}

Chapter 38 part 3

Demi POV

After they finish with me they tell me that their taking Makenzie back to get checked cause she was a little early but looks healthy. The nurses leave but our room soon gets filled with our friends and family. I see Grace even made it. I also sense tension between my dad and Colton. Dallas seems to not care and my mom is just focused on me. I can tell Colton's trying to just focus on me and not worry about my father which I'm grateful for. I don't need a fight breaking out in the hospital room. Everyone gives me a hug and we talk. "So... Are you gonna tell us her name or..." Dallas says. I laugh. "Yeah when they bring her back." "You feel okay?" My mom asks. "Yeah I'm fine." "How bad could it of hurt?" Rob says jokingly. I laugh. "Try getting a tattoo on your dick... Then maybe you feel half of what I just felt." Everyone laughs along with Rob and I. We hear the door open and the nurse wheels in a tiny baby with a pink hat, wrapped in a white blanket with one arm sticking out. Everyone stays quiet as the nurse walks out smiling. Colton picks Kenzie up slowly and smiles. He comes over to my bed and hands her to me. I can't help but tear up at the sight of my beautiful little girl. "I wanna see..." Corey says. Colton picks him up and holds him over the side of the bed. "She's very pretty." Corey says. We laugh. "The name?" Dallas pushes. I look at Corey. "Wanna tell them?" He nods and yells "Makenzie!" Everyone smiles. I let everyone take a chance to hold them cause their gonna leave soon. It's the middle of the night but I had to call them back over since I had her. As we're passing her around I see Colton walk out the door with my dad.
