Chapter 32 part 1-3

Demi POV

Once the meeting is over Kelly and Pau go over to catering. I follow. I get a piece of bread with peanut butter on it and take a big bite.

"Demz?" Kelly says.

"Hmm?" I hum with food in my mouth.

"Since when do you eat that stuff?" She asks. I've been on a raw food and vegan diet.

"Since I'm hungry and there's nothing else to eat. Plus I've been craving it for some reason." Kelly and Pau look at each other.

"What?" I ask. They shrug.

"Nothing." They say in unison. I roll my eyes.

"Okay." After I'm finished with them, I go home. It's kind of late so I go in quietly hoping Corey's asleep...

Well I was wrong. I follow the noise until I see Colton on the bed laying on his stomach with Corey on the floor kicking and screaming.

"Corey!" I yell over him. He stops yelling still crying.

"What's wrong?" I ask ask Colton looks up at me.

"I'm not tired!" Corey says still crying.

"C'mon it's bed time..." I say walking to him.

"No!" He says hitting my arm before running past me. Colton snickers and I give him the look. I chase after Corey and he's hiding in my closet.

"Corey Fitzgerald..." I say using his full name... His mother named him obviously. He looks up at me.

"I'm sorry." He says knowing he's in trouble. I grab his hand and lead him to the kitchen. I sit him in the chair and set the microwave timer for ten minutes.

"Stay here until that timer goes off." He nods and I run my hands through my hair, going to find Colton. He's still laying in bed. I lay next to him.

"Ready for your massage?"

"Yes please." He sits up and gives me a kick ass massage.

"So what are we gonna do for your birthday?" He asks. I sigh and sit up.

"I meant to tell you..."

"Tell me what?"

"I'm not gonna be here for my birthday... I'm going to Africa."

"Oh... Uh okay..." He says.

"I was gonna ask you to come on vacation but then you said you started school and I know your classes would of started by then... Are you mad?"

"Who alls going?"

"Mom, Dallas, Natalie, Holly, Marissa... Some few people from my management, people for Free The Children... That's really it."

"Okay. Just as long as your okay." I nod. We lay down and I soon end up dosing off but quickly jump up.

"Shoot..." I say getting up. I go into the kitchen and the timers going off, Corey's laying his head on his arms on the table asleep. I smile at his cuteness. It's hard to stay mad at him. I take a picture and post it to twitter...

"He fell asleep in time out ☺️😂😍😴."

I put my phone back on the counter and pick him up, taking him to his room without waking him.

Demi POV

I wake up the next morning and stare at the ceiling. I then turn my head to see Colton staring at me.

"Good morning beautiful."

"Good morning baby." I say.

"No kiss?"

"Babe I have morning breathe."

"So?" I shake my head and give him a quick peck.

"Thank you." I smile and lay on his chest.

"What time are you going home?"

"Lunch time... Maybe later."

"Why can't you stayyy." I whine.

"Because I have job applications to fill out and I still have to buy my college books..."

"You can do that stuff here."

"Plus I have laundry to do..."

"I have a washer and dryer..."

"You don't give up do you?" He asks.

"No..." He smirks and I smile.

"Okay... You can go home."

"Geez. Thanks for your permission." I laugh. Then my phone rings.

"It's Marissa." He nods and goes into the bathroom as I answer the phone.

Colton POV

I get a quick shower just to wash my hair, brush my teeth and then get dressed. I go out and Demi's hanging up the phone. She lays down and sighs.

"What's up?" I ask putting my dirty clothes in my bag to take home tonight.

"Marissa got a new boyfriend and just found out he cheated on her."

"Damn..." I say laying next to her.

"That sucks." She nods as she lays her head on my chest.

"Well you have nothing to worry about... I know how that feels and I wouldn't do that to a girl." She looks up to me.

"Someone cheated on you?"

"Yeah... Plus my dad cheated on my mom plenty of times and I don't want Corey to go through that." She nods and gives me a kiss.

{SKIPPING THE DAY THEY LEAVE FOR AFRICA}

Demi POV

The day I leave for Africa comes. Three days ago we all went for vaccinations that we all had to get for this trip. I'm packed and my bags are ready to go.

Corey and Colton spent the night to say goodbye this morning and then are going back to Colton's house for the week. He started school and we put Corey in day care that I am currently paying for. I'm not letting Colton pay for it because I want to do it for him and Corey, and because he doesn't have a job at the moment and still has a house to pay for so I'm paying for Day Care. We just finished putting my bags in the car. Colton and I are standing on the porch hugging. Corey won't wake up but I said bye to him last night just in case.

"I'm gonna miss you." I say to him.

"I'm gonna miss you too. Once you get home were gonna have a birthday for you... Just us."

"I like that." He smiles and I give him a kiss.

"I'll video chat when I can... Please do not forget to come by once a day for the dogs... Give them time to eat and take them out to use the bathroom."

"I know. Everything's taken care of."

"And you know if you need money..."

"Babe were fine. Have fun."

"I just worry."

"I know but you don't need too. The boys have this under control..."

"Great..." I say sarcastically. He laughs and we share another kiss.

"Okay. Get going. Your gonna miss your flight." I nod and sneak one more kiss before getting into the car.
