Chapter 25 part 3

Demi POV

Throughout the night we've been bowling, mini golfing, out to eat dinner, and then we went to a drive in movie to watch The Notebook. It's around 1 in the morning and I'm driving.

"Where are we going now?" He asks.

"You'll see." I look at him and he looks exhausted and bored out of his mind...

"Aren't you having fun?" I ask.

"Yeah." He says lying. I laugh and park the car on the side of the street.

"What are we doing?"

"Talking... Is that okay?" He nods.

"So... There's a reason why I did all these things tonight."

"Cause you know I hate them." I laugh.

"No..." He looks at me confused.

"You spent an hour bowling which I know you hate, two hours playing mini golf with three other couples in front of us making us wait thirty minutes for each hole..." He giggles. "And watching The Notebook... It proves to me that you'll do anything to get what you want."

"Do you know what I want?" He asks. I nod. "I want you." He says taking my hand. "I'm sorry for treating you like shit and I payed for it. I lost the only things I had. Gracie moved back to Canada and you left with Corey... I now know what I want and I will do anything to get it back... Even if it means spending all night wanting to rip my eyes out of my head." I laugh.

"It wasn't that bad." I say.

"Hell if it wasn't. Jesus the dude didn't need to show the girl how to putt on EVERY hole." I laugh. We end up just staring at each other.

"Thank you." I say. He looks at me confused.

"For what?" He asks.

"With everything that happened with my dad, there has not been one moment where I haven't hated myself since I found out... Tonight I haven't felt that way at all. I had fun and I forgot about what was going on in my life... "He rests his forehead on mine.

"Can I kiss you?" He asks putting his hand on my cheek. I nod and soon feel his lips against mine. My eyes slip close as I get lost in the moment, just enjoying his company, the realization that I've missed him and his touch the entire time. He pulls away and looks at me.

"I love you." He says. I smile.

"I love you too." I say before reconnecting our kiss.

Soon I see two bright lights behind us and a horn honking. I start the car back up and start driving. Why couldn't this road be made for two cars?

Demi POV

We get to the hotel and I turn the car off.

"So you leave tomorrow?" I ask.

"Yeah." He says. I nod.

"Okay well it's late and you have to leave early so we should go inside." I say taking the keys out of the ignition. We get out and go up to my hotel room.

"This room is a whole lot nicer than mine." He says flopping on my bed.

"That's because it's a suite..." I say laying next to him.

"So are we good?" He asks. I get on top of him, straddling his lap.

"You tell me." I say before leaning down to give him a passionate kiss. I lips move perfectly in sync with each other's until we need air. I rest my forehead on his and give him one last kiss on the lips.
