Chapter 69 part 1-3

Colton POV

We get home around 3 in the morning. I know everyone's gonna be asleep so we be quiet as we walk in. I hold on to Demi due to her being dizzy and walk her to the couch. "Are you okay for a minute?" She nods and I go into the guest room. "Hey grace. We're home." I say shaking her. She groans and nods. I kiss my sisters head and go out. "Ready to go to bed?" She shakes her head no. "I'm not tired..." She says. I nod considering she slept on the plane. I sit down and she lays her head on my lap as I turn the tv on quietly. I love our new house. We have so much room and its overall just a nice house. "Daddy?" I hear behind me. Demi sits up and looks as I look back. Corey's there rubbing his eye. "Come here buddy." I say. He walks over and I pick him up, sitting him next to me. Demi lays her head back on my lap with he hand on his leg while my arm is around him and the other running through Demi's tangly hair from the car ride. "When did you get home?" Corey asks. "Not too long ago... Get some sleep." He leans against me and I take a picture once their both asleep. "What I live for💕💕..." I caption as It goes on Twitter. The next morning I wake up to Kenzie. "Dada..." She says hitting my face. I hear Grace laugh. I open my eyes and notice Demi and Corey are gone. "Where's Dem?" I ask. "Bathroom... She looks really sick." I nod. I go in and suggest we take her to the doctor. She agrees and we go.

Colton POV

We get to the hospital and they call us back. They take her temperature and blood pressure and tell us that both are really high. They then take blood work. I stand next to the bed Demi's sitting on and she leans against me. "I love you." I say randomly. She smiles and looks up at me. "I love you too." The doctor comes in and pulls up a chair sitting down. "Your results haven't come back yet but by your blood pressure, temperature and other symptoms, it's pointing to the stomach flu. Normally I wouldn't keep you but it has been going on longer than usual so we are gonna admit you to the hospital just until your results come back..." She sighs and nods. They wheel chair her down to a room and I fill out paper work and then call Gracie. "Hey." She says answering. "Hey. Demi has a high case of the stomach flu and since she hasn't gotten any better since the start they're gonna admit her... She'll be fine but we'll be here for a while until her blood results come back." "Alright. Well I'll stay with the kids... Tell demi I hope she feels better." "Alright and thanks for everything." I say since she's been really helpful with the kids. "Your welcome. Love you." "Love you guys too... Bye." I hang up and go back in with Demi.

Colton POV

I go in and sit with her. She just sits up on the bed and plays with her hands. "Are you okay?" I ask. "Yeah. Just nervous." "Why?" "Because I've never... Well I've had the flu but not this bad." "Don't worry about it... You'll be fine." I kiss her head and then the doctor walks in. He doesn't have a good look on his face. "We have establish that you have a severe case of the stomach flu but we have another problem..." He shifts his weight onto the other leg and looks at us. "We're you aware that you are pregnant?" He asks. Demi looks at me and then back at him. "... No... I... I took a pregnant test and it came back negative." "When?" He asks. "A little over a week ago..." She says trying to think back. "Well then it was wrong... Your almost two months along..." I put my arm on her shoulder and give her a side hug. She smiles a little. "Well what's the problem?" I ask remembering that he said there was a problem. "With her having the stomach flu and being pregnant the high blood pressure can effect the pregnancy from pre-eclampsia to as bad as a miscarriage..." She squeezes my hand and I rub it with my thumb telling her it's gonna be alright. "We're gonna keep her here overnight on medication to bring the blood pressure down and if it's not brought down in the morning we'll move her to a stronger medication..." "Just make sure the baby's alright..." Demi says. "Of course... We'll be in in a few minutes to put the medication into your IV... And congratulations." He says before walking out. I cup Demi's face and give her a kiss. "Your gonna get sick." She says. "That's okay..." I say smiling. We kiss again... This time longer. "I just hope everything's gonna be fine." She says worried. "You both are gonna be fine." I say putting my hand on her stomach. We share another kiss and then i let them put the medication in her IV.
