Chapter 29 part 1-3

Demi POV

After we eat lunch we all get dressed into our bath suit to head down to the beach. I get into my brown bikini before helping Corey into his swim trunks.

"Can you pack the bag?" I ask Colton. He nods. He starts getting a couple snacks, towels, Corey's floats, and sunscreen in the bag.

"Can I see that..." I say reaching for the sun screen. "Cor come here." He walks over and I pick him up, standing him on the couch. "Spread um..." I say. He puts his arms out and spreads his legs while I put sunscreen all over his body.

"That's cold!" He says pretending to shiver.

"I'm sorry. Would you rather burn?" He shakes his head no. I rub it in and then use lotion in his face.

"Okay. Your good." I put some on Colton's back since he can't reach and he does the same to me.

Once we finish putting on sunscreen we walk through the sand to the beach. There's not many people. Maybe two of three family's. While we're setting up chairs Corey decides to start running away.

"Corey..." I yell after him. Colton goes to chase him. I watch and Colton picks him up over his shoulder, them both laughing. I smile as they walk over.

"Ready to get into the water?" Corey nods. The waves aren't bad but there are some small ones. We start by getting used to the water. We both stand in the water with our feet in while pulling Corey up when a wave hits the ground. Once we do that for awhile we get on. Corey hangs on to my neck the whole time.

"Corey you have floaties. Don't you wanna swim?" He shakes his head no. I try to pull him off but he starts to cry. "Okay, okay." I say trying to get him to calm down.

That beach day was short but we did get to bury Corey in the sand which he loved... Of course I was the one giving him a shower to get the sand out from his hair.

Once I'm done with Corey I let him go play around the house while I get ready cause tonight is Colton and I's date night

Demi POV

While I'm stepping out of the shower, Colton walks in.

"Hey... Who's watching Corey?" I ask considering we're the only ones that came.

"I got someone. Don't worry about it... We're gonna have fun tonight."

"You just want some ass."

"... Is it that obvious?" I laugh and hit his arm.

"Get a shower." He laughs and gets into the shower. Once were both dressed and I've done my hair and makeup I go down to meet the girl watching Corey. She seems nice but this is gonna be the last night out without Corey.

Colton never comes down. I go upstairs and into the bathroom.

"What the hell is taking so long?" He looks at me with an innocent look.

"I'm doing my hair..."

"What hair?" I ask considering he shaves his head most of the time. He laughs.

"I'm just kidding. Gracie called and I got held up."

"Oh. How is she?"

"She's good. She moved out from Grandmoms. She's staying with her friend now."

"You know she can always stay with us."

"I offered. She said no."

"Okay... Well let's go." He nods.
