Chapter 94 part 1-3

Demi POV
"Hi." I say smiling and shaking Deacon's hand. "Hey." He says. I looks at CJ and shakes his little hand. "Hey little guy." CJ hides his face behind me cause he's shy and tired. "I thought you only had two kids." Deacon asks. "We did... A year ago." We laugh. "This is CJ." Colton says. He nods. "Well I'm gonna go put him back to sleep. It was nice meeting you Deacon." I say. He smiles. I go upstairs and pass Corey's room. "Mom." I hear. I turn around. "Hey Cor. Why are you up?" "Who's at the door?" "Your uncle." I say as he follows me into CJ's room. "I have an uncle?" "Yeah... You'll probably meet him tomorrow." I say laying CJ down. I give him his pacifier and he watches as we walk out. I walk Corey back to his room. "Can you get me a drink?" He asks. "Sure." I go downstairs and get a cup of water. I go up and Corey's asleep. I sit in on his table in his room and then go to mine. I try to wait for Colton but end up falling asleep. "Baby... It's morning. Wake up." I hear. I open my eyes to Colton. I look at the time. I slept in. "Is Corey up?" "Yeah. All three kids are downstairs with Deacon." "He stayed last night?" I ask. "Yeah. That's okay?" "Yeah. Just wondering... Is he staying with us for awhile?" I ask. "We'll talk later... I have to get Corey to school." I nod. He gives me a kiss and walks out. I go downstairs after getting dressed. "I'm going out but I didn't want to leave them alone." Deacon says. "Okay. Thanks." He nods and leaves. I look at Kenzie and CJ. "Movie day?" "Yes!" Kenzie says. I pick up CJ and take Kenzie's hand going into the movie room. I have CJ on my lap and Kenzie snuggled into my side. I take a picture of all of us and post it on Twitter. "Lazy days with my kiddos..."

After a movie day I go pick up Corey from school so he doesn't have to ride the bus. I get out and lean against the car to wait for Corey. "Mommy I'm bored." I hear from the cracked window. "Once Corey gets here were leaving." I say. She huffs and I giggle at how cute she is. I see Corey walk out with a few boys and he smiles when he sees me knowing he doesn't have to ride the bus. He waves bye to his friends and walks to me but looks over. I look over and see a group of boys take the book bag off a little girl and pour all of her papers out laughing. I watch as Corey walks over and helps her pick all her stuff up and put it in her book bag. Once there done he comes over and I run my hands through his hair. "That was very nice of you.. Cmon." "Hey." I hear behind me. It's the little girl with I'm guessing her mother. I smile and shake the mothers hand. "I just wanted to come thank you for helping out Harper over there." She says looking at Corey. "No problem." He says. We laugh. "Your a very nice young man." She says before smiling and them leaving. We get into the car and get home. I let CJ out and he starts running to the door. I hear crying and turn around to see him fall. "It's okay." Corey says lifting him up. He helps him up the step and into the house. I get Kenzie out of her car seat and she goes inside too, me following. I go in to see Colton and Deacon on the x-box playing. "Hey babe." Colton says without looking up. "Hey... Where'd the kids go?" Corey took CJ upstairs with him. ...Kenzie's in the kitchen trying to reach the cookies..." He says as we hear a shatter of the cookie jar. I walk in and she's standing in the middle of it. "Sorry." She says. I walk over and pick her up. "Are you okay?" I ask sitting her on the counter and checking for glass anywhere on her. I clean it up and then let her down. She stares at me. "No for a cookie?" She asks. I laugh and tickle her. "That's a no. All the cookies are broke now." I say. "I blame Corey." She says before running out.

That night after the kids are asleep I lay down in bed. Colton's been playing X-Box with Deacon all night. I end up dosing off. Just when I fall asleep Colton comes in. "You awake?" He asks. I look up. "Yeah." I say. He strips down to his boxers and jumps in bed. "Sorry. Deacon and I-" "We're on the X-Box." I say interrupting him. "Are you mad?" He asks. "No..." I say rolling onto my back and facing him. "I'm just stating the obvious." "You sound mad." He says. "I'm not." "Okay... But if you are..." "Colton..." I give him a kiss on the lips. "I'm not." I say pulling away. "I know it's been awhile since you've spent time with him. It's fine." "Okay..." He says finally believing me. "So is he staying with us?" I ask bluntly. He looks at me. "If your okay with it... Just until Christmas. He wants to spend it with us. It's only two weeks... The day after Christmas he flys back to Canada and we go on our romantic getaway... Just the two of us." He says pulling me closer to him. "Is that okay?" He asks. "I guess..." I say sarcastically. We laugh. "Of course it's okay... It's your brother." I say. "He's really changed... I offered him a beer today and he refused it." He says. "Well that's good." I say. He nods. "... CJ's up." I say as we hear tiny voices from down the hall. "I'll get him." Colton says. I nod. A few minutes later and CJ's asleep... In between Colton and I. I put my hand on his stomach and look at Colton. "Goodnight." I say. He leans over CJ and gives me a kiss. "Goodnight." He kisses CJ's head and lays down. Soon were all asleep.
