Chapter 53 part 1-3

Demi POV

After getting home from the school I go upstairs. Kenzie's on the bed playing with her feet surrounded by pillows so she doesn't fall. I go into the bathroom and see Colton with a towel wrapped around his waist, brushing his teeth. I wrap my arms around his waist and lay my head on his back. He finishes and turns around, giving me a kiss but I pull back. "You need to shave." I say. "It's no shave November." He says. "... It's August." "Alright. Then it's no shave August. I'm gonna try to grow this out." He says. "Okay. Well don't expect to be getting anything from me." I say. "You can't go more than a day without giving me a kiss." "Really?" He nods. "Well then let's make a bet." I say. He nods. "If you shave before I kiss you... which you will... You have to take a picture of your bare ass and post it on twitter." I say. "Fine." He says with no hesitation. "And when you break and kiss me... You have to wear lingerie and post a picture on twitter." I tilt my head and he smiles. "... Deal." We shake hands considering I can't lose this right off the bat and go out with Kenzie. I take her in her room to try to get her to take a nap before going back to my room. After awhile he comes out still in a towel. He drops it and motions down to his friend. "You know you want it." "I know I wanna see your ass all over twitter." "That should only be for your eyes. I don't know why you want that on twitter." He says getting dressed. I laugh. He soon leaves for work. I decide not to go to the studio to stay with Kenzie.

Demi POV

After Colton leaves I get Kenzie up. I give her some breakfast... Mashed bananas. She's transitioned to real food but still sometimes just takes a bottle. Just depends on how hungry she is. While I'm feeding her in her high chair, Colton's phone goes off. He must of left it. I click on it and see a text from Hailee... What the fuck? I open his phone and read it. "Hey babe. Wanna hang?" I look through some of his old messages with her. There's over forty messages from her but none that he's responded too. I smile and put his phone down. I get on twitter. "Faithfulness goes along way. Love you with all my heart💕💕." Colton responds... "Love you baby girl @/ddlovato💕😘." I retweet it and put my phone down as Kenzie starts to get impatient. "Okay okay." I say starting to feed her again. Noon comes and Corey should be getting home soon. Kindergarten is only half a day. They leave after lunch. I'm at the bus stop and he gets off with the same girl he got on with. They hold hands stepping down one step at a time. I quickly take a picture and put my phone back as I step out of the car. Corey runs to me and I pick him up. "Hey bubba. How was school?" I ask. "Good. This is Tori." "Hi Tori." She gives me a high five and I laugh. "Hey Tor..." A lady says. I smile. I introduce myself and the kids start talking about play dates and stuff. I smile and we exchange numbers so the kids can hang out. We also worked out a schedule so on days Colton and I work, she can take Corey to the bus stop. She seems very nice. Her names Laura. I take Corey home and go inside. "Wanna see what I made today?" He asks. Just then Kenzie cries. "Sure. Just let me put her to bed okay?" He nods looking down. "I'll be right back. Promise." I get her bottle and go upstairs.

Demi POV

Once I get Kenzie asleep I go back down with Corey who's playing one of his video games on the tv. "Cor... Come show me what you did." We go into the kitchen and he sits down, me sitting across from him. He pulls out a bunch of papers that I have to sign and his homework. He has to draw a picture of himself with one fact on it. I sign the papers while he does it. He shows me it when he's done. "Corey..." He looks at me. "How do you spell your name?" "C-O-R-E-Y." He says. I point at it and he giggles. "Whoops." He spelled it Cory. I smile and put my hands through his hair as he adds the E. "Can you help me with something?" He asks. "Of course. What's up?" "I have to memorize this." He says handing me the Pledge of Allegiance. "Do you know it?" He asks. "Yeah. I had to memorize this too. You keep the paper and I'll say it okay?" He nods. We start to say it and he soon gets closer and closer. "Can I stop?" "When do you have to have it memorized by?" "... Monday." He says obviously lying. When he lies he blinks a lot. "Liar." "No I'm not." I give him the really look. He sighs. "Alright." He says whining. Then the door opens. "Daddy's home..." Corey says getting up and running to the front door. Worst time Colton. I go in. "Corey. Back to the kitchen." He stomps back with his arms crossed. "What's up?" "He has to memorize the pledge of allegiance." "Oh... So what was that post about on twitter today?" He asks. I give him his phone from my pocket. "Did I leave it here?" I nod. He throws his phone on the couch and picks me up. He grunts a little. "Haven't worked out?" I ask. "No... But it doesn't matter cause your not big at all." He leans in but I stop him. "I'm not losing the bet." He groans as I get down. "Where's Kenz?" He asks. "Still sleeping. I gave her a late nap... Wanna wake her up?" He nods and walks upstairs.
