Chapter 105 part 1-3

Colton POV
I get up as the doctor walks in. He quietly checks Demi and the babies vitals and tells me pretty soon they are gonna take her off the medication. I nod and he leaves. I sit next to Demi holding her hand and just thinking. It's kind of scary to think they are gonna be born early. I knew this was happening but it's still scary. A FEW DAYS LATER. A few days pass and today they are taking Demi off the medication to start the labor. I'm nervous as hell and so is she. The kids are all here. It's a weekend so the kids don't have school. CJ is on the bed with Demi talking to her while Kenzie and Corey are in the cafeteria with Dallas and Marley. The rest of her family is gonna come whenever it actually starts. The doctor comes in and I hold CJ as he takes her off the medication. With being on the medication so long it could take a day or two for actual labor to start which Demi's okay with and too be honest, I am too. Demi decides to get a shower just in case it starts early. I sit with CJ and we watch cartoons on the tv the hospital has. I take a picture of us even though he's focused on the tv. "These long months are paying off. Waiting patiently 👶💙💗💙💗??" I retweet some people back.
"Tweet a picture!" I quote saying "I will when they're here!" I try to make it the same enthusiasm as what the fan had. I retweet a few people and then put my phone up as Demi walks out in a robe instead of pajamas. "I hate these things." She says. I laugh.

Demi POV
"I'm so bored!" Kenzie says laying on the couch in the room. "Are they gonna be here soon." Corey asks. "I hope so." I say tired of the hospital. I'm sick of being in this hospital and in the next day or two I'll have two more little kiddos... They'll have to be in the hospital longer than I will though which is gonna suck. A few hours pass and I feel the contractions starting. The kids are happy about it cause they're bored sitting here in the hospital room. My mom and sisters get here and they all talk to me until it gets late. Everyone leaves along with Colton and the kids. He's coming back after he drops the kids off at my moms. I decide to take a nap while I still can.
Colton POV
When I get back to the hospital it's around two in the morning. CJ wouldn't go to sleep unless I was there and kept having mental breakdowns. He wouldn't let go of me and kept screaming and crying. Demi and I have talked and once the twins are born and home were gonna take him to the doctor cause he very well could be ADHD. I get back and Demi's half awake. The doctor is checking her now. He tells us she's four centimeters dilated and if she wants she can get the epidural. She turns it down cause it's not unbearable right now. The doctor leaves and I sit in the chair next to Demi. "How are you feeling?" I ask. "Okay... After a couple times you know what to expect." She says making me giggle. We talk for a little bit until one of the machines start to beep faster. We look at it and notice it's the one that's monitoring the baby's heartbeat. Without hesitation I get up and go outside the room finding the doctor right away. "There's something wrong." I say. He follows me in and notices the machine. He checks Demi's dilation and then takes his gloves off. "Prep for an emergency c-section." He says to the nurses. "Wait what?" I ask. "The babies heartbeat is failing. We have to get them out now and she's not physically ready to do it naturally so we are gonna have to do a c-section." They wheel her bed out and I get cleaned and covered to go in. I walk in and she's looking scared as hell. I sit by her and they put the blue screen thing over her chest to prevent us from seeing it. I kiss her head. "Okay. Your gonna feel a lot of pressure." The doctor says. They drug her but she still is gonna feel something. I feel Demi squeezing my hand and closing her eyes. I rub her fingers soothingly as she does so. "Baby A..." The doctor says. "Is a boy." I see Demi tear up. I kiss her head. They take him right away though. "What's the problem?" I ask. "He's the one who's heart is failing. We have to get him to the NICU." The nurse says. They leave with him leaving two other ones to attend to the second baby. Within minutes the other one is out. "Baby B..." I look over to the baby being placed in the nurses arms wrapped in a blanket. "Is a girl." He says. I kiss Demi one more time. They take her back just to get checked but she's a lot bigger than her brother but is still early so they are checking her. They stitch Demi up and then wheel her back to the room. I try to get her to fall asleep but she refuses until she knows what's going on with our son so I decide to go and find out.

I'm making my way down to the NICU and stop at the waiting room. They all were told what was happening by a nurse since we didn't really have time to explain it. "Boy and girl." I say walking in. Her family is the only one in there so they get a little loud. "Are they okay?" "She is... They uh... They had to do an emergency c-section cause the boy's heartbeat started to fail. They took him right after he was born so I'm going down to see what's going on now." They nod. I see the kids sitting in the corner and motion for them to come here. They walk over and I bend down to their sizes. "I promise once I figure out what's going on I'll let you guys comes and see them okay?" They nod. I give them all hugs and then go down to find the twins. I find a nurse outside the NICU and she shows me which ones are mine since their names aren't on the incubators yet. I put on the gloves, mask and cover before going in. I look at my daughter first. She doesn't have much connected to her. She looks like a normal healthy baby. I look at the information on the sheet. 5 pounds, 6 ounces. Born on February 24 at 3:32 am. I reach my hand in and take her little hand. She has her eyes closed. I notice a nurse walking over to attend to my son. I switch directions and see him completely different than his sister. He has a few wires connected to him. He's only 4 pounds, 2 ounces, born February 24 at 3:28. I talk to the nurse and she tells me that they got his heartbeat to go back to normal but being the conditions, has to stay a lot longer than his sister. They say he should be fine though. I sit down and just talk to him. He's too immune that I can't put my hand in the sides of the thing so I just sit there and talk to him. I tell them about their brothers and sister and then the nurse walks back in. She velcro's a piece of paper to each incubator. I look and it's their names. I guess Demi finally chose some. I take a picture of them both, make a collage and post it on Twitter. "Happy Birthday Conner Paul and Reagan Mae Oake👶💙👶💗."
