Chapter 47 part 1-3

Demi POV

The whole day with Kenzie and Corey alone is extremely difficult. After I put them both down for a nap I had a really bad feeling that I haven't had in a while... I went to start making Corey lunch before he woke up and almost threw up just by looking at it. I didn't have that feeling since I had my eating disorder. I started thinking after that and started to have suicidal thoughts. I called my doctor and he told me I have postpartum depression. He recommended some meds you can get at a drug store. I haven't gotten them yet though. Colton gets home around four. I'm in bed with Kenzie in my arm half asleep with Corey laying, watching tv. I hear Corey get up and look up to see Colton there. Corey goes out of the room after talking with Colton and Colton takes Kenz to spend some time with her. "Hey." He says to me. I stare at my hand, not paying attention. "Demi?" "Huh?" I ask looking up. "You okay?" I nod but get a sudden urge to cry and can't help but cry. He puts Kenzie in her crib and lays next to me. "What's the matter?" "Nothing." "Something wrong." "I'm just tired... And you being a dick doesn't help." "What the hell did I do?" "You were a dick this morning with the whole work thing. I get you have to work but you didn't have to say what you did." "What did I say that was so bad?" "Nothing. It was just the way you said it. Then you woke Kenz up and left me alone." We just stare at each other. "I called the doctor today... I've been having these feelings and he said that I have postpartum depression." He nods. "What kind of feelings?" I shrug. "Like you don't wanna eat?" I nod. "What else?" "Everything." I say honestly. He takes a deep breathe and nods. "How long does that last?" He asks. I shrug. "Okay... Well why don't you get some sleep. I have to go back home to get a few things. I'll take the kids with me. I'm sure a car ride with knock Kenz out." I nod. He gives me a kiss on the cheek. "Love me?" He asks. I nod. "I wanna hear you say it." "I love you." I say before giving him a kiss on the lips. He gets Kenzie and Corey and then leaves, giving me a chance to catch up on some sleep.

Colton POV

I take Corey and Kenzie home to get some things. They both fell asleep on the way so I go inside and quickly get a few things. I lock the door and get to the car. I check on Corey and Kenzie but Corey's door is sitting wide open. I sigh and get out. "Corey?" I say. "Hide and seek!" I hear a little boys voice call out. "C'mon Corey I don't have time for this." I say. I don't really wanna leave Demi alone with how she's feeling. "Gotta find me!" I hear. I sigh and look around for a little bit. I find him behind a tree and he runs away laughing. I chase him and finally get him, throwing him over my shoulder laughing. I get him in his car seat and we leave. "I thought you were asleep mister." "No." He says laughing. "So your birthday's next week. What do you wanna do?" "I wanna go swimming." "Well mama has a pool. Why don't we do something that we can't normally do everyday." "Jump!" He says. "Huh?" "Tramline." He says pronouncing trampoline wrong. "I'll talk to mommy." We get back to Demi's and I get Kenzie in the crib without waking her or Demi. I turn around and notice the beds empty. I guess I did wake her up. I walk into the bathroom and she's turning the shower on with her clothes off, a towel around her. "Your fast." I say. She nods. "Tomorrow I wanna go and get some family photos done." "Okay... So can I join you?" "No..." She says. "Why?" "Cause I said so... Go watch Kenzie." "... Okay." I walk out and she closes the door behind me waking up Kenzie. "Shit..." I say walking to her. I know Demi's only self conscious cause of the baby weight but she looks amazing for someone who just had a baby. I pick her up and decide to play some video games. I have an X-Box and never play it anymore. Corey joins me and I start to play with Kenzie laying in my lap.

Colton POV

The next day we get to a photography place and we get the kids dressed after getting us dressed. Corey, Demi, and I get out hair done. Demi takes longer cause she has makeup too. I hold Kenzie in her cute little dress while Demi's finishes. Corey plays on the iPad. We finish and go to where the picture is being taken. We do a few of just me and Demi. Then we do one with just me and Kenzie, then her and Kenzie. Same with Corey. Then a bunch of family photos with the four of us. Two hours pass and Corey starts complaining. Kenzie's getting fussy too. "Wanna see what we have?" I nod. We look and they seem good so we decide to call it a day. We get changed again into more comfortable clothes and leave, knowing the pictures will be mailed to us when they're done. We get home and Grace is packing. "Hey." I say walking in. "Hey. My flight leaves today... Gonna drive me?" "Yeah... Aren't you old enough to get a license?" "Yeah... I just don't want to." "Well you should." She shrugs. She takes Kenzie and spends the with her a she's leaving soon. Corey joins them and I go find Demi. I find her in the bathroom, sitting on top of her hands on the toilet. She looks up at me and back down on the floor. I take her hands and stand her up. We walk into the bathroom and lay down on the bed. "Are you taking your medication?" I ask. She nods. "Then why are you feeling this way... You know your beautiful... To everyone." She shrugs. We sit in silence until I'm sure she's okay. "I start rehearsals next week." "What?" I ask sitting up. "You just had Kenzie like a week ago... And Corey's birthday is next week." "Well I need to work... And I'm not gonna miss Corey's birthday. I'm in charge for this tour... I can do what I want... When I want... Whenever I want." "Damn..." I say at her sassiness. She laughs. I push her down and kiss her neck, making her laugh. "Stop..." She says pushing me off. "Say your beautiful." "Your beautiful." She says laughing. I give her the "really" look and tackle her again. "Okay okay..." I sit up and look at her. "I'm beautiful." "Damn right your are." I say kissing her again. She pushes me off and stands up. "Your an idiot." She says walking out. I sit in the bed laughing.
