Chapter 24 part 1

Demi POV

"Who's that? Your fuck buddy?" Colton asks. I roll my eyes and answer.

"Hello." I say answering with an attitude.

"Demi?" My mom says crying.

"What's wrong?" I ask knowing something is obviously wrong.

"I just got a call from your grandmother on your dad's side of the family..."

"Okay?" I say confused. I haven't talked to anybody on my dad's side since my mom and dad divorced.

"He passed away."

"Who?"

"Your dad." I don't really say anything.

"Demi?" My mom says thinking I hung up.

"I'm still here. Can I go?" I ask not knowing what to say.

"Yeah. I love you." I don't even say love you back. I hang up.

"What?" Colton asks. I push by him and go to door but he catches me and turns me around.

"What happened?" He asks holding my arms. I push him off and go down to my room. I get there, lock the door, and just cry.

I didn't even know he was sick...

How can he just be gone like that? I go into my bathroom and close the door, locking it. I run the bath and pull my bag on top of the toilet. I get my razor I use to shave out and pull the blades out of it.

Colton POV

I call Diana but she doesn't answer. I then call Dallas and she doesn't either. Their probably mad cause of what happened between me and Demi. I look at Corey asleep on the bed and pick him up slowly. I go to Max's room. He answers.

"Hey. Can you watch him just for a couple minutes? Some things wrong with Demi and I wanna go check on her."

"Should I go?" He asks getting into the protective bodyguard act.

"No it's fine." He takes a sleeping Corey and I go to Demi's room. I try to open it but it's locked.

I knock... No answer.

I knock again... No answer.

I put my ear to the door and hear the bathtub running. I knock one more time harder and start getting worried.

I run to my room to get the spare key I have for her room and quickly run back opening her door.
