Demi POV

*Couple months later*

{A/N... SORRY ABOUT THE TIME SKIP. I JUST DONT WANT THE STORY TO DRAG ON}

My tour just ended. Today we get back to LA. I've talked to my roommates and they agreed to let Colton and Gracie stay just for a little bit. They like Gracie so it wasn't hard to convince them. We get to the house and we all help them take their bags in. I show Gracie her room and she starts to unpack. Me and Colton go upstairs and I help him put his clothes in the closet and dressed. X-Factor has started and I've also died my hair blonde. I wanted a different look for the X-Factor. Auditions are still going but the last auditions are in LA so I can stay here. The last two months have been exhausting. I didn't really get to celebrate my twentieth birthday cause I've been busy but it's okay. I got to spend it with my family and friends so it was fun. We ended up going to a trampoline warehouse so that was fun. After the X-Factor we have boot camp, then judges homes, then live shows. For live shows I think I'm gonna dye my hair black. I want something different for live shows. I'm not sure yet though. Colton and I are unpacking when Olivia knocks on the door.

"Demz... Someone's asking for you." I look confused and follow her downstairs. A woman in a suit is standing there.

"Hi." I say.

"Hi. I'm Vanessa Florst. I'm with Child Protective Services. Is Colton Oake here?"

"Yeah... Upstairs." I say walking upstairs with her following. All I can think about is why a person from CPS wants to talk to Colton. We walk into the room.

"Colton..." He walks out of the closet.

"Hi?" He says.

"Hi. I'm Vanessa Florst with Child Productive Services." He looks confused.

"Hi..." He says.

"I'm here to talk about your son..."
