Chapter 16 part 3

Demi POV

That night I end up going to Colton's for dinner. After dinner Colton gives Corey a bath. I hear Corey crying and Colton soon comes out. He gets the pacifier off the table.

"Babe..." I say.

"Hang on." He says walking into the room to give him the pacifier. Corey calms down and then comes out. He sits down.

"Where's Gracie?"

"Spending the night at her friends house."

"Don't you think you should try to get Corey off the binkie?"

"He won't sleep with out it."

"Well why don't you make it fun for him to get rid of it."

"What are you talking about?" Then Corey walks out.

"Watch..." Corey walks in between my legs and I put my hands on his sides. "Why are you out of bed bud?"

"I can't sleep." He says through his pacifier.

"Well why don't we play a game." He nods.

"Go get a bag." He comes back with a bag.

"Okay. We're gonna put all your binkies in a bag and tie to the tree outside. Then while your asleep the Binkie fairy is gonna come and take all the binkies away but she's gonna leave a cool present for you okay?" He smiles and nods. "Go get them all." He runs off and I sit back.

"Binkie fairy?"

"Yeah..." I say looking him. "My dad did that too me and my sisters." He nods. Soon Corey comes in with all his pacifiers. "One more?" I ask. He puts the one from his mouth in the bag. "Okay. Let's go outside." Colton helps me help and gives me my crutches. We go outside and tie a string to the bag. Colton lifts Corey up and Corey puts the bag around the tree branch. "Now tomorrow the Binkie fairy will come and give you a present." He smiles. "Ready to go to bed?" He nods. We go inside. Colton and I both tuck him in and he falls asleep for the first time without his Binkie. "Your welcome." I say walking out. He laughs. I sigh.

"What?"

"How am I suppose to get home?" I ask. He giggles.

"Stay."

"I am." I say giving him a kiss.
