Chapter 34 part 1-3

Colton POV

A week passes. It's two days after Demi's birthday and she's back. Corey and I are at the airport now waiting for her to get off the plane. We're sitting down when I get a text from Hailee.

"Hey handsome. Coming to class today?"

"No I don't feel too well. I'll be there tomorrow."

"Okay... Can't wait to see you." I don't respond. Instead I see Corey stand up. I look at him and then watch as he starts to run in a different direction. I look up to see demi bend down and pick him up. I stand up and walk over to her.

"Hey..." She says smiling while giving me a hug.

"Hey." I say hugging back, taking the bag out of her hand for me to carry.

"Ready to go home?"

"Yeah." I say hi to her family and friends and then we leave and go home.

"Happy Birthday." I say walking in.

"Thank you. So what's been going on here?" She asks as she flops down on the couch.

"Nothing. School, job applications... Same old thing." She pats for me to sit down and I sit next to her.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"Well you haven't given me one kiss since I came back. Normally I go to get the mail and you wanna have sex." I giggle and shake my head.

"Sorry." I say giving her a kiss.

"Thank you." She says pulling a away.

"Um... I have to tell you something."

"What?" She asks. I look at her eyes and just imagine what their going to look like after I tell her.

"I just uh... Was just gonna ask how Africa was." She starts going on and on about everything she did. I start to think.

If I end this thing, whatever it is, with Hailee, Demi doesn't have to know...

Yeah I know that makes me a coward but Hailees just some fling. I didn't have sex with her so I better end it now before anything else happens.

Colton POV

The next day I get up and get ready for my classes. Demi goes to X-factor today so I'm taking Corey to Day care. After I drop him off I get to my class. I'm the first one in there. Soon my buddy Henry comes in. He sits next to me.

"Hey man."

"Hey." I say.

"What's up?"

"Swear you won't tell anyone?" He nods.

"I cheated on Demi."

"What?" He asks.

"With who?" Just then Hailee walks in. She winks at me before sitting in her seat.

"Your kidding right?" I shrug. "Your an idiot..."

"Yeah I know. Thanks."

"How did demi take it?"

"... Well..."

"You didn't tell her?" I don't say anything. "Dude if you don't tell her, your gonna look the a huge coward."

"Yeah. That's the second time I've been told this."

"Who else knows?"

"Her little sister." He laughs.

"Dude it's not funny."

"It kind of is... Well it would be if it wasn't you in this situation. Just tell her. If she breaks up with you then go out with Hailee."

"I don't wanna be with Hailee."

"Then why are you screwing her?" He asks.

"We haven't had sex."

"No. You just shoved your tongue down her throat every time you see her." I give him the look and he backs off.

"I just don't want you to be upset okay? Only looking out for you bro." He says hitting my shoulder. I nod. The teacher walks in and class starts. I'm on my way out when Hailee stops me.

"Wanna get an early lunch?"

"I can't." I say walking away.

"Why?" She asks.

"I have my next class."

"Yeah in thirty minutes..."

"How do you know that?"

"Cause your class starts the same time mine does... Let's just get something quick. Taco Bell?"

"Okay." We get into my car and head to Taco Bell.

Demi POV

A week has passed... Right now I'm at X-Factor finishing up the day.

Today was the Four Chair Challenge which was intense. I was so stressed and praying that I made the right decision.

I stuck with Ellona Santiago, Dani Gymer, Rion Paige, and Khaya Cohen. They are extremely talented.

I can relate a lot to Dani, she's the quite one but once she hits the stage she's a firecracker. I'm not quiet now obviously but I was shy when I was younger.

Rion has been through a lot and I think is extremely talented along with Khaya and Ellona. Their all fierce when they hit the stage. We go backstage and do a little bit of press.

My four girls and I get a few pictures together and then I leave.

On my way home I pick up a few things because I have a surprise for Colton and want to tell him in a cute way.

I pick up what I need and then go home. I get a bunch of pictures in a box in the back of my closet that we have of Colton, Corey, and I and then get to work.
