Chapter 101 part 1-3

Colton POV
"Corey..." I say as he runs out. I see the dog laying in the street. "Corey go inside." I say as I get there. He stands there crying and looking at the dog. Demi comes over and gets him. They go inside and I bend down. "Rem... Cmon bud." I say. He's still breathing but weakly. I pick him up and sit him lightly in the back seat and quickly drive to our vet.

Demi POV

"Is Remmy going to be okay?" Kenzie asks as I tuck her in. "I'm sure he'll be fine. Go to sleep." I leave her room and check on a sleeping CJ before going downstairs. Corey's laying on the couch. "Hey bubba... Can I lay with you?" He nods. I lay down and he lays in between me and the couch, my arms around him hugging him. He soon falls asleep and I do too. "Demi..." I hear which wakes me up. I open my eyes to see Colton. He shakes his head. I nod sitting up. "Can you take him to bed?" "Yeah." He goes up and I get my phone out. I make a collage with pictures of Remington with all the kids. "Lost an important member of the family today... Remington will always be in our hearts 😔😭🐾🐶." I go upstairs and lay in bed. Colton soon joins me and holds me close to his chest. "Just when I start to like the dog." He says trying to lighten the mood. I giggle a little bit before laying my head back down. Winston and Barkley jump up on the bed. Normally we don't let the dogs sleep with us but tonight we let them. Barkley lays with me and Colton allows Winston to sleep with him.

My next appointment comes. I've been doing a lot of press for the movie and it's really getting to me. I'm exhausted most of the time and my feet and back hurt. I'm growing faster than when I was pregnant the previous times... Colton has work so I brought Dallas. The kids are at school. CJ is with Maddie. We get called back and the nurse does all the precautionary stuff. The doctor comes back and asks a few questions as well before starting the ultrasound. I always love these things cause I love seeing the differences in the baby from the last visit. "There we go..." He says pointing out the baby. "Wait..." Dallas says. I look at her and then at the doctor who is smirking. "Demi look..." She says. I look at the screen. "What?" I ask oblivious. She points to the screen. "Wait..." I say looking at the doctor. He laughs. "There's two..." Dallas says shocked. "You are correct." The doctor says. I gape my mouth. "I'm having twins." I ask shocked. "Yes." He says. "As in two babies." I say trying to clarify. "Yes." He says laughing a little. "Shit... Didn't see that coming." Dallas says. He prints out pictures. "Would you like to know the genders?" He asks. "Am I far enough along?" "Your almost four months along. We can try..." I look at Dallas. "No. I think I wanna wait for my husband." "Okay." He says agreeing. I take the pictures and leave. That night while the kids are eating dinner Colton walks in. He kisses all the kids and the comes to me. "Come here." I say pulling him out of the kitchen. "What?" He asks as we stand in the hallway. I show him the picture. "That's the baby." He says. "Yeah..." I say trying to get him to see the second one. He doesn't though. "Do you see anything different than the last one?" I ask. He stares at it for legit a minute. "Is there two?" He asks. I nod. "Twins?" I nod again. "Your lying." He says. "Babe it's on the ultrasound." "These aren't yours." He says. I laugh and show him my name on the side of it. "Your seriously having twins." "Yes!" I say. "Five kids." He says. My eyes widen at the thought of it.

"Kids..." We say walking in. After I told Colton he practically tackled me in hugs and kisses. After our moment we decide to tell the kids. "Me no kid." CJ says. "Really. Than what are you?" I ask. "Big brudder." He says proudly. I smile and run my hands through his brown hair, curls starting to become visible in him just like it was for Corey at this age. "Okay. We want to show you guys your baby brother or sister." I say. The get excited. We let CJ see one in his high chair and then give the other one to Kenzie and Corey at the table. Corey notices it. "Why is there two circle thingies?" He asks. "Maybe because there's two babies." Colton says. "Are you serious?" Kenzie asks. We nod. "Are you happy?" I ask. "As long as they are boys." She says. "You don't want a sister?" I ask. "No. I'm the little girl." "Whether you have a sister or not you'll always be our baby girl." I say hugging her. "I don't want a sister." She says crossing her arms. "Then pray for two boys." I say. "I will." She says pouting. "I'm good with two boys." Corey says. "Me too." CJ says. "I'm gonna hate the disappointed children in this house if it's a girl." I say. Colton laughs and I join him as we watch the kids expressions, one excited, one pouting, and one not even knowing what's going on. After the kids homework and baths are done we send them to bed. I read a story to CJ like I do every night. Afterwards I go into the room. Colton is at the dresser taking his watch and stuff off. He's shirtless showing his v-line and muscles. I hug him from behind. I see him smile in the mirror. "Hey beautiful." He says. "So... Since we have two babies... I think we should start trying to potty train CJ. He's gonna be two and I don't feel like having to change three sets of diapers." I say. "If you think that'll be helpful than we can do whatever." He says. "Kenzie and Corey both were potty trained by the time they were three. A year early won't hurt." I say. He giggles and nods. I lifts me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. "I love when you pick me up... It makes me feel confident." I say. "Why?" He asks curious. "It makes me feel light..." "Like a lightweight." He says smirking. I laugh at his horrible analogy. "Whether your pregnant or not, go me your as light as a feather." He says. I smile and kiss his lips. "Did you find out the genders?" "No. I wanted to wait for you. Speaking of that, November 20 we can go and find out." I say. "Okay. I'll make sure to call off work." I nod giving him a kiss.
