Chapter 21 part 1

Demi POV

I'm looking inside the two crates with the tiny puppies inside. I look in the red carrier, the little Bassett hound I fell in love with named Remington. Then I look inside the blue carrier, a tiny Miniature Pinscher named Winston. I gotta get Remington fixed soon since she's a girl. I don't need no twenty puppies popping out.

"I can't believe you got two dogs." "

I did it just for Colton. He loves dogs."

"Why would you do anything for him." I shake my head.

"It's sarcasm. He hates dogs. Why do you think Barkley is at my house."

"So now you have three dogs? What happens when your on tour, or when you have X-Factor to do?"

"I can get a house sitter or something. I don't know. I'll worry about that in July when auditions start." She nods. We get to the hotel, I let the dogs do their business, sneak them inside and then head to where the interview is.

Corey POV

I just finished getting myself dressed. It took forever cause I couldn't tie my shoes so I decided on sandals with these sticky things. I look in the mirror and fix my curls before walking out.

"Daddy?" I say looking around the living room.

"He's out." Gracie says from the couch.

"What?" I say sitting next to her. "He said we'd go to the park today." I say upset and looking down.

"Sorry bud."

"Well can you take me?"

"I can't. I only have my permit."

"You what?"

"It means I can only drive with an adult. Not by myself and certainty not with a three year old." She says.

"Well when's daddy coming back?"

"I don't know..." She says putting her hand through my hair.

"Okay." I walk off into my bedroom. I take my shoes off and my clothes. I slip on some PJ's and lay in bed. Why can't day care be all day... And all night? Why does mommy have to leave? I close my eyes and end up dosing off.
