Chapter 20 part 1

Demi POV

An hour passes and Colton won't answer my calls. He really starting to worry me. His breathe reeked of alcohol and he was slurring his words. I don't think he'd be the one to drunk drive, especially with his three year old son but drugs can make you do a lot of things. One in the morning comes and I've left over thirty voicemails. I can't make it anymore and I end up falling asleep. I wake up at nine to my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I say answering.

"Hey." I hear Colton say.

"What the fuck?"

"What?" He asks.

"I've called you like fifty times."

"Yeah I've seen that."

"We're you drunk yesterday?"

"That's my business if I was or not."

"Uh... Okay well technically it's my business too considering your my boyfriend." I say pissed off.

"Well what kind of girlfriend doesn't trust their boyfriend? I wouldn't put my son in danger by drunk driving and I'm offended that you'd think I would. I don't need you telling me how to raise MY son."

"Your a dick you know that. I'm not an idiot. I know you were drunk and you can obviously tell you have a hangover. Your slurring your words, your voice is dragging..."

"So what. I'm tired." He says interrupting me.

"Why are you in such a bad mood? I was just worrying about you guys."

"Well you don't have to worry about it. We're fine."

"Fine. I'm gonna go. I'm leaving for Puerto Rico in a week... I wanna get together before then."

"We'll see. I gotta go." He says before hanging up. I throw my phone on the bed.

"Fuck..." I say covering my head with a pillow.
