Mike held Mila as she slept against his bare chest. It was well into Monday night and after traveling late last night into the early morning when they finally reached his house at close to five a.m., he knew she was tired. Unlike him, she had to make sure she was staying on a good sleep schedule. So while he slept until one p.m. Mila was up by ten after only sleeping for five hours and kept busy to make sure she stayed up. Thanks to her keeping busy he no longer had to wash his laundry from tour or go grocery shopping. To say he was blown away by everything she had done while he slept was an understatement. He didn't expect her to what she did and after seeing everything that she had, made sure to let her know she was amazing and appreciated before pampering her with a nice bath teamed with a glass of wine. While she was in the bath he ordered them in food and dessert knowing that she would worry about cooking and he didn't want her to have to do that. Not after everything she had already done for him.

He lightly ran his fingers through her hair as she slept enjoying the feeling of having her cuddled up to him fast asleep. He never really got to enjoy this since right after she usually fell asleep he did as well. Mike was well aware that he was missing a lot of the movie they had put on, but he found that watching her as she slept was more interesting. He tried to memorize the little things about Mila. From the way her mouth would open just a hair once she was fully asleep or the fact that her eyes moved back and forth under her eyelids as she dreamed. The way her face was contoured with her cheekbones naturally, but most of all how she still responded to his forehead kisses or hair strokes with a small, delicate sigh. A buzzing noise came from his side where she had placed her phone as she fell asleep breaking him away from his studying.

'Cata' was what came up on the caller ID. Cata was the nickname Mila's family called Catarina, Mila's sister. She was older than Mila by two years and pretty much the opposite of his girlfriend. Mila growing up had moments where she was girly but for the most part wore jeans, t-shirts and sneakers much like she does now. Cata took fashion seriously and would be caught up on the latest trends. Mila tended to hang out with more guys than girls while Cata had a tight group of female friends. Mila also looked a lot like her grandmother while Cata was pretty much Mari's twin. However many differences the women had though, they were close. All of the siblings were. Mike knew that Mari had instilled in her children the fact that at the end of everything, your siblings will always be your siblings and you should be able to go to them for anything. Which led him to wonder if something happened and that's why she was calling.

"Hey Cata," Mike said softly slipping out from under Mila as he made his way out of his room. His free hand carefully shut the door behind him not wanting to wake his girlfriend up with his voice.

"Mike?" He heard her ask surprised. "Holy shit, hi. You're not who I expected when I called Mila but it's probably best to talk to you. How have you been?"

"I'm good. We just got back from tour this morning so tired but not knocked out yet like Mila." Cata laughed over the line. "So what's up?" He asked walking down the stairs to the kitchen grabbing a water from the fridge.

"Well, there's a couple of things. One, our monthly family dinner is this coming Sunday and Mom wanted Mila to bring you."

"Consider it done. I love the Family dinners," Mike nodded. He was used to the family dinner's that Mila's mom, Mari, would do on Sunday's. After all her kids got older and eventually left her home, she planned monthly meals that everyone, including the significant others would go to. He enjoyed going to them years ago because just like Mila with his family, he loved hers. "What else?"

"I don't know if Mila mentioned it, but my wedding is July tenth and I was wondering if you wanted to come," She asked as he smiled.

"Of course. I would love to! I'm glad it's early July and not towards the end because otherwise I would be on tour," Mike told her walking to his calendar that hung on the wall near the fridge marking down 'Cata's Wedding' on the tenth of July.
