A Breath To Build A Glow (Part 2)

(A/N- What's a wedding without a Reception and Wedding Night? A mature section is at the end of this chapter...obviously.)

Their hands were locked together between them as they waited to walk through the archway that was decorated with flowers that led to where their guests were.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please stand and help us congratulate the Bride and Groom. Mr. and Mrs. Michael Shinoda!"

Mila smiled walking alongside her husband towards the dance floor that was set up in front of the deejay and in the middle of all the tables. Mike's left arm wrapped around her waist while his right hand held hers once their first dance song began. They had agreed to 'Everytime I Close My Eyes', a song that they had first danced to as a couple years ago. It was a song that when they both heard it, they thought of the other. Between the lyrics and Babyface's voice, Mila couldn't help but feel like it was the perfect first dance song for them. It was slow, romantic and beautiful. As the song reached the second chorus, she was surprised to hear the song change to 'Promise' which caused her to look at her husband with a raised brow. Mike said nothing but offered her smile and a kiss to her lips while changing their dance tempo to meet the now romantic Spanish song playing through the speakers. It was the first song she ever taught him to dance to at one of her family's parties and she couldn't believe he remembered it.

"How did you remember this song?" She asked him as he brought her back to him after twirling her.

"I asked Micah what song it was. He has a ridiculous fucking memory with that stuff. I remembered what it sounded like, but obviously I didn't know the title or words," Mike replied kissing her lips again. "It's the correct song, right?"

Mila nodded smiling. "It absolutely is. I used to love this song when it first came out."

"It's pretty romantic. I had your Mom translate it for me," He smiled leaning his head against hers while she sang the words to him until the song ended. Mike kept hold of the hand that was in his throughout the songs and led her to the table they would be eating at making sure to hold out her seat for her.

The couple watched Jay take a mic from the deejay smiling at the other guests momentarily before turning his head to smile at his brother and sister-in-law. "For those of you who can't see the resemblance, I am Mike's younger brother. I'm obviously the slightly better looking Shinoda son," Jay said earning chuckles from the crowd as he winked at Mike who rolled his eyes. "All kidding aside, Mike is someone who I always looked up to and wanted to be like. He's always been a driven and talented person who had a good head on his shoulders. He's kind, smart, caring, funny and loving to anyone who meets him and that has remained even after all the success he's had. He's always been a loyal friend to those in his inner circle and fiercely protective of one. Mila came into my life when I was eleven and even back then I could see how my brother was different with her. He was always laid back unless he was working on something, but with her it was always actively ready and willing to defend her. So imagine my lack of surprise when he tells me he liked her and wanted to date her. Mila, being the smart woman she is, agreed and continued to make my brother the happiest anyone has ever seen him. It wasn't without some pain, heartache and stupidity though." Jay looked at Mike shaking his head while the older brother sighed. Mila smirked placing her hand onto his knee. "But regardless of all that, they realized who was right for one another and that there was no one else for them than each other. I couldn't be happier of the woman who is now my sister-in-law. Mila has been my listening ear for years and is probably one of the smartest, unselfish person I know. She has been my sister from another mister since I was eleven and now she is officially my sister. So congratulations guys and I wish you an eternity of love and happiness. To Mike and Mila."
