Mike looked at her silently as she looked into his eyes. He saw the anxiety surrounding entire situation and while he knew he could try to protect her, at a certain point it'll come out regardless. He had been there when the other guys wives or girlfriends were found and identified and everything that went along with it. While he knew she could handle it when it did come out, he also didn't want to force her into this position.

"Haven't we had this discussion already?" Mila countered sighing. She was beginning to feel a headache coming on with a shake of her head.

"Yeah, but that was before you got to see things first hand. Now you're seeing it and I am asking again."

"Why are you doubting me?" She asked tilting her head earning a head shake of disagreement from Mike. "You know if I don't know what I am feeling I will tell you. I believe the last time we had this conversation I told you if it's part of your life then I will accept it as part of mine. That hasn't changed. I'm committed to our relationship even if there are the few people out there who just want to tear me down. Do you not believe me when I say this?"

Mike shook his head again. "It's not that. I'm not doubting you or your words at all."

"Then what is it?"

"You're waiting for your other ball to drop and I'm waiting for mine," He told her getting a confused look from the woman in front of him letting his arms drop to his side. Mike wasn't the type of guy who got self-conscious a lot. There were certain areas that he definitely did, like his body or looks in general at times, but there was one area lately that made him feel nervous and unsure.

"What are you talking about?"

"I'm terrified of having you wake up one day and realize you made a mistake. That this isn't what you signed up for and leave. I know it would be less stress to you to have someone that isn't followed around and the potential of your identity getting out there which makes your job harder. I've been nervous about this since we first talked about this. It's hard for me to see you nervous about it getting out," Mike told her honestly feeling a weight being lifted off his chest.

Mila sighed walking to him wrapping her arms around his waist feeling his arms surround her as her head rested on his chest. "We both need to stop being so nervous about this stuff," She told him feeling him nod in agreement. "How about we make a deal? I stop giving a shit about when my name gets dropped or people see my face if caught by fans and you stop thinking I deserve someone better." Mila pulled away looking up at him. "I know there is no one better than you, Mike. I did date when we were broken up and no one came close. So I know that there is no one that is better. You don't have to worry about that."

Mike smiled softly as he nodded. "And you don't have to worry about people finding out your name...yet. But when it does come out I promise I'll be there to support you even if it's from miles away. You're never alone in this."

"Sounds like a solid plan," She smiled before laughing causing him to look at her confused. "We are the world's cheesiest couple. We are so lame! God, if anyone could actually hear us they would be so bored and hate us."

Mike joined in the laughter nodding. "You make me such a soft person." Mila raised a brow reaching her hand down causing him to groan softly. "I said 'soft person' not just soft we know that's not true."

"Just making sure," She chuckled.

Over the next couple of weeks following their talk, Mila found that while after returning home from tour she had stayed home a lot during the work week it slowly dwindled to barely even going there unless it was for clothes. She couldn't even begin to mention the last time she went food shopping for her fridge or what was currently in there. She wasn't sure how it happened. All Mila knew was at first Mike was asking her to come over and spend the night so he could see her, which then turned to her just going there automatically. He never cared and seemed to enjoy the fact that when the key turned in his door, he knew it was her coming home from work. In turn, Mila had gotten used to sleeping next to him which Mila knew would come and bite her in the ass when he would leave to go back on tour in a couple of months.
