(A/N- A bit of a filler chapter.)
"Oh my god." Mila heard Jecca say from a couple offices down. It was Friday around four thirty in the afternoon and she was ready for the weekend. Coming back to work after having three work days off was chaotic. The amount of items that sat waiting for her in her mailbox needing a signature was enough to make her believe that she had carpal tunnel after signing her name on everything. She knew Mike had to sign a lot of autographs and about halfway through her stack asked him his secret.
'Not writing my full name in perfect cursive.' Was the response she received which honestly didn't help her at all since she had to sign her name the way she did, it was the only the insurance companies would accept the paperwork. Mila also didn't miss the sarcasm that was behind his text and sent him a picture of her glaring at him. What she had hoped would be him shaking in his boots was actually him telling her she was 'cute' when she glared.
"Oh my god." Jecca's voice was heard again eliciting Mila to shut her door with a small push of her hand.
"3...2...1..." Mila mumbled to herself finishing her last sentence in the plan section of her D.A.P note as Jecca entered her office right on time. Even though she wasn't looking at her friend, she knew for sure there was a glare on her face.
"Did you not hear me?"
"You're two offices down. Of course I heard you, but you see I'm trying to finish my work before five p.m. so I can actually enjoy my weekend," Mila replied looking over the list of notes she still had to do sighing crossing one out. "Or try to not go insane this weekend."
"Camila, seriously. Will you ask me why I was saying 'oh my god'?" Jecca asked sending her a pointed look while sitting in the chair next to the desk. Mila knew this look well. It was one she had seen her friend use many times during groups if the clients weren't paying attention. To them it was intimidating, to her it was funny.
"Will you leave me be if I do?" Mila questioned placing her pen down earning a nod. "Fine. What Jecca?"
Jecca handed her the cellphone in her hand. Mila noticed it was a picture of her from the beach after dinner a couple of nights prior. Her face was blocked by her arm, but obviously she knew it was her. It was the picture Mike had mentioned he planned on posting. Mila looked at her shrugging. Jecca rolled her eyes scrolling down to the caption.
'The beauty of the sunset pales in comparison to her.'
She smiled reading that seeing faintly from her peripheral vision Jecca's hand reaching over again scrolling to the comments. "Mike doesn't want me reading comments from fans," Mila looked up at her friend shaking her head.
"I'm not telling you to read the fan comments, but literally all the guys commented on the picture," Jecca told her showing her what she meant.
'Great shot of her, dude. She definitely brings light and bright energy wherever she goes. Glad you guys found your happiness together.'
'Amazing. When is my beach photoshoot?'
'Beautiful shot. Elisa wants a double date soon and something about missing your girlfriend. Whatever that means.'
'Shinoda always taking the best photos that makes all our girlfriends and wives want their own. Haha looks great!'
'Dude, this is a great fucking shot! I can only imagine how big she was smiling. I love you both. P.S. how many pics did you take before she was snatching the camera from your hand?'
Mila laughed shaking her head. Even though she hadn't been wanting to see some of the fan comments, her eyes still gazed over some.
'Why not me? This is fucking beautiful!'
