As if the sky had blown the heavens into stars...Remedied

(A/N- So I wrote out the outline for the rest of the story. This book will end at Chapter 60. I am currently 5 chapter's ahead in writing due to wanting to get them married and this book completed so book 2 can start. Obviously it picks up a bit but it seems to be flowing nicely.)

Mike watched while Mila finished getting ready for the annual New Years Eve party at Caleb's house.  Ever since the Pre-Christmas gathering at her mom's house where she not only mentioned potentially wanting to try for a baby after they got married, but also that she had an IUD, it has been on his mind.  Would she want to try after they got married for a baby? He didn't mind that idea, especially after spending time with Quinn so much.  But he wanted to know what exactly was on her mind.

"Can I ask you something?"

"You can," Mila nodded walking back into her closet going through the small section of cardigans that she had. 

"How would trying for a baby work with the IUD?" He asked her as she continued to look through her sweaters.

"I would have to go to my doctors and get it removed before that could happen.  Why?" Mila questioned pulling a maroon cardigan off of its hanger placing over the floral top she wore.

Mike shrugged his shoulders.  "It's just been on my mind since the party at your Moms.  You mentioned that you may want to start trying after we got married and I was wondering how that worked."

Mila nodded taking a seat next to him on the bed.  "Do you want to start trying after we get married or do you want to spend some time just being married first? Once a baby comes along everything changes."

"I know it does," He nodded looking at her.  "It's not something that has to be decided right now.  We still have eight months before we are married, but it doesn't hurt to talk about it.  I also don't know anything about an IUD except the fact that it's preventing you from getting pregnant even after all times we've had sex."

"Well, just know that when we do decide to start trying after it's removed it could take a bit before we get pregnant.  I believe my doctor had told me something like six months before I would actually conceive.  So whenever we are thinking about trying, it'll have to be out around then and we will probably have at least six months of practice before a little Shinoda is cooking," She said watching the soft smile form on his lips.  "You're imagining it, aren't you?"

Mike nodded continuing to smile.  "You're going to look so beautiful pregnant."

"Thank you, handsome," She smiled kissing his lips.  "I love you."

"As I love you, beautiful."

"Well, look at who it is," Caleb smiled opening the door to his home for the couple.  "Mike, just remember to not kiss her at midnight.  We don't want a repeat of last year."

"Oh ha ha," Mila said rolling her eyes walking into the home.  "Way to put that on me instead of Casanova over here."

"Oh no, that was a dig at him more than you," Caleb stated pushing their friend.  "But honestly Mils, I can't really fault the guy for trying to romance you back by kissing you at midnight."

"Well, it obviously worked because we're engaged now," She chuckled kissing her fiancées cheek. 

"Only because I was persistent," Mike reminded her while rubbing her back gently.  "After I did that you didn't respond to any calls or messages. I had to crash your dinner with Rob and Brad in order to get you to even acknowledge me."

"Oh you did more than just crash my dinner," She laughed shaking her head.  "You made it so I had to go to your house to listen to the new music.  You literally backed me into a corner."
