We're raiding a bandit hideout today. They've been harassing our people, and they must be stopped. Me and small task force are prepared to attack the hideout and capture them all. It's me, a werewolf, an enderman, and a minotaur. I'm equipped with my endorium knife, plus a new prototype plasma weapon. It's supposedly a semi-automatic precision weapon, similar to the Covenant carbine from the future. Each time I press the trigger, it lets off a burst of three plasma bolts. I can manually set it to stun or kill. Currently I've got it set to the non-lethal setting. The minotaur is equipped with a large wooden club, the enderman with a blowgun, and the werewolf with a good old fashioned tranquilizer gun. We're approaching the hideout now. It's hidden deep in South Forest. I spot a large hill up ahead, and recognize it as a concealment spell. "There is is," I whisper. I point out the hill. Everyone takes out a potion and downs it. The spell is dispersed and we can see a few wooden buildings, as well as a few guards posted around. We're hidden in the darkness, so they shouldn't see us until it's too late. I wave everyone forward and we silently advance. We get right up to the edge of their camp and halt. "Hold..... now!" I whisper. We rush out of our hiding spots and silently rush the nearest guards. I fire my gun and the closest one drops with a strangled scream. The others notice us and scramble into fighting positions. It's too late. A dart appears in one's arm and he instantly falls to the ground. The werewolf fires his weapon twice, and down go two more. The minotaur knocks people unconscious with quick, decisive blows to the head with his bat. "We're under attack! Kill the prisoners!" I hear someone shout. "Prisoners?" The enderman asks. "We knew nothing about prisoners!" "We must protect them!" The minotaur bellows. He rushes forward, charging through the door of the nearest building, smashing it to splinters. "No one here!" He reports. "Check the other buildings. Quickly!" I order. We split up. I teleport to the farthest building and break open the door. It looks like a bedding area. I head back towards my team, stopping at each building on the way. A storage area, a dining area, another sleeping area. I come across more bandits and take them out quickly. "Over here!" The werewolf shouts. I look over and see him rush into a building, half into his wolf form. Suddenly a bandit explodes through the side of the building, throwing chunks of wood flying. Another one comes flying out a window, screaming. I teleport over and take in the scene. There are over thirty dwarves tied up on the ground. Ten are dead, their throats slit. We were too late to save them all. Not so for the others, though. I rush to the nearest one and unsheathed my knife. He finches away, but I put up a soothing hand. "We're here to help," I say. I cut his binds and move to the next. They stretch out and take out their gags as I release them. "Thank you," one says. "They were going to sell us as slaves." He explains. "That's horrible. We're going to get you out of here," I say. The enderman and minotaur show up and help me unite dwarves. "Start teleporting them back to Endromidus, I'll keep overseeing operations here," I order the enderman. He nods. He puts away his blowgun and starts teleporting dwarves away, two by two. "Stay here and protect them," I tell the werewolf. He's in his glabro form. He nods with a growl. Me and the minotaur leave the building to keep incapacitating bandits. The rest of the raid goes smoothly. Every bandit is captured, and all the dwarves are rescued. I only regret that we couldn't find them quick enough to save those first ten. Some dwarves choose to stay in Endromidus. Most choose to return to their clan underground. The ones who choose to stay are given homes and job opportunities.
