The wolf grunts as he lifts a heavy bit of lumber and begins standing it up to become a wall. He's a unique creature. He stands on two legs, and has hands instead of fore paws. His body is designed like that of a human. His fur is grey, with some white areas. He grabs a hammer and starts nailing it to the others. "Aha." He says. "Finally done." He steps back and admires the freshly finished wall. "Well done." He congratulates himself. His ears flick as he hears someone coming up behind him, and turns to greet her. "It looks good." Says the little demon. She has pale grey skin and red hair. Her eyes glow red, and a fuzzy tail flicks behind her. Coming up through her hair are short, curved horns and some ears that resemble that of a feline. "Thanks. But I only did the building. You got me everything I needed." "Well, of course. But you did good building it." They both smile and head inside to the newly finished house. An interesting pair, the demon and the wolf. They live together, fight together, grow together. Even love together. Once inside, the wolf presses a button and the fireplace extinguishes and opens up to reveal a short passage. The pair walk through and it quickly closes up behind them. As they continue forward, another wall opens up as they approach. Once trough, it closes again. Now they're in a large open room. Not open enough, though, as the train station is still a work in progress. They both pick up enchanted pickaxes from their home leaning against the wall and begin digging. The pickaxes are enchanted to be able to mine out large areas of stone at once. One square meter at a time, to be specific. The feline demon uses her own powers to transport the shattered stone to storage to be reused later. They've had help from their neighbors before, but it's just them today. The Warrior is off looking for his next mark, the Distant is far away building his own mansion, the Absent is still missing, his location a complete mystery to the community. As the sun meets the horizon the two lay down their tools and head back into the main house. They close up the passage, and lay down in bed together. They don't waste time, and sleep quickly overtakes the tired couple.
