There's a great migration of animals. Creatures of all kinds are moving across a sinking continent to get to higher ground as their habitats are flooded. Groups of herbivores and carnivores alike travel together, begrudgingly moving onwards despite their close proximity. Carnivores need to eat, however, and a diverse group of herbivores has been unknowingly targeted by 3 different packs of hunters. Deer, avaceratops, elk, magyosaurus, bison, equus, and gallimimus are all that make up this group. Hunting them are three separate packs, one of urahraptors, one of winter wolves, and one of medium sized acromantulas. Prime picks for carnivores are the old, sick, young, and injured. And there are plenty of picks in this group. An old bison is slowly but surely lagging behind his herd. An injured magyosaurus hobbles as fast as it can, but is being left behind. A young equus can't go on, and him and his mother are forced to rest. A sickly pair of deer trudge behind the herd. These are the unfortunate creatures in the hunters' sights. Despite being so different, the slow herbivores can sense danger, and group together. The acromantulas scuttle rapidly across the ground, silently crawling over logs and through undergrowth. The winter wolves bound over obstacles, barking and howling in communication with each other. The utahraptors speed across the open expanse, completely focused on the laggers. The raptors arrive first, piling onto the bison, bringing the beast to the ground. The wolves arrive next, splitting up and focusing on the two deer and equus. The acromantulas finally arrive, and climb up the magyosaurus' legs, latching onto its back and neck to inject their venom. All the prey goes down almost instantly, before they even have time to run. The packs begin to feed. However, after a few minutes, the close proximity of the packs becomes too much and a raptor nips at a wolf's tail. The wolf jumps to the side, tripling over an acromantula. Things escalate quickly, and it turns into an all out brawl that brings all three packs many meters away from their fresh kills. A dragon, noticing the pile of unclaimed bodies, lumbers over and roars as if to claim them. The dragon has no scales, but thick, leathery skin. It has no wings, but strong front legs that it can use as arms and hands. It's built almost like a giant, furless gorilla. The fighting stops immediately, and all the hunters look up at the challenger. As one, all three packs charge the dragon. The dragon roars in dismay as utahraptors jump up and latch onto its thighs and sides. The wolves tear into it's feet, while the acromantulas climb up the dragon's legs and start injecting heir venom through bites on its back. The dragon screeches and stands up on two legs to use it's forelimbs to swipe at the wolves below it. They narrowly avoid the blows with quick jumps to the side. The fight does not last long as the venom from so many spiders is too much for the dragon, and it quickly falls. The utahraptors don't hesitate with finishing it off. The packs begin feasting on the carcasses, no longer bothered at all by the close proximity with each other.
