Meanwhile

"We've got activity in the Breach!"

Alarms start blaring, and people take their stations all over the jaeger headquarters known as the Shatterdome. Sensors they have all over the area around the Breach make sure they have a visual on where the kaiju is and where it'll be heading.

A pair of pilots are prepared and a jaeger is about to be sent out when suddenly the big blip representing the kaiju disappears. The man responsible for watching does his best to fix the issue, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with any of their equipment.

All their computers are fine, all their sensors on the field are still active. It's like the kaiju just disappeared. They still send the jaeger to intercept it in case it's still out there, but they won't find anything.

Meanwhile, at the bottom of the ocean, a kaiju has just arrived from its home dimension on the other side of the breach. It's orders are simple: get to land, make it to the volcano known as Mt. Fuji, and jump in.

It begins swimming towards the nearest shoreline to carve its way to the distant volcano when it suddenly passes a family of krakens. The massive and elusive sea creatures are not that much smaller than the kaiju itself. The matriarch is even bigger than it.

Very unluckily for the kaiju, this family of krakens is starving, and this alien leviathan will make the perfect meal. The patriarch strikes first. His massive tentacles wrap around the kaiju's chest and squeeze it with enough force to crush the hull of a freighter.

The kaiju roars and reaches up to tear the kraken away, but the matriarch moves in before it gets the chance. She uses her massive tentacles to entangle the kaiju's four arms and she uses the claw-like graspers  at the end of her arms to tear at the kaiju's face.

The other krakens move in and soon the kaiju is overwhelmed. It's blood turns the sea a deep purple-blue. The toxicity doesn't seem to bother the pod of leviathans one bit.

The family of krakens eat their fill, and there's still flesh still on the kaiju's bones. As they swim away to continue their journey north, the kaiju's desecrated corpse sinks into the deep dark abyss below to rot away at the bottom of the sea.
