Me and my mom are driving down the road. We're on our way to pick up my sister. My mom's a little nervous because there is a cop driving behind us and we have expired tags. Oops. I look out the the window as we pass a field. I gape at what I see. "Stop the car!" I shout. My mom freaks out, screeching to a stop. She wasn't freaked out enough, however, to forget to pull to the side in the process. There is a huge dragon standing in the field, grappling with a human boy. The boy has a sword and is jumping around, and onto the dragon, slicing into his scales. I have to help. The dragon is huge. The boy can't do it alone. I reach into the glove box, where my mom keeps her gun, and jump out of the car. I get closer to the action and cock the gun. I point it at the dragon's head and start firing. I mostly hit with my shots, though not always where I want, but I miss a few. The gunshots ring through the air. The boy looks at me for a moment, but has to stay focused on the dragon. The dragon mostly ignores me, though I know my bullets are piercing his scales. "What is going on here!?" I hear a man shout. I turn to see the cop from behind us walking up to me. "I can't talk right now." I say, taking aim again. "Give me that! You can't go firing a gun into the sky in such a populated area." He can't see the dragon. He doesn't believe in dragons. He reaches for the gun. I move away from him. "Sir, I can't let you take this. It's an emergency." I say. "What emergency?" "Just trust me." He looks at me, then at where I'm firing, then back at me. He suddenly lunges for the gun in my hand. I shout out and try to move out of his way. He knocks the gun out of my hand. I groan and rush to the car. I open the back and pull out a sword we just bought. It's real, but probably pretty dull, it was supposed to be for decoration. I guess it will be getting some good use in its lifetime after all. I rush past the cop, and to the dragon. I start slashing at his ankles. Gross enough, I cut myself some hand holds in his leg. I start climbing towards his head. My mom and the cop take a step back, in awe. They still can't see the dragon. They just see me floating. I end up on its back, and swing hard at his wing. It takes two swings, but I end up cutting off one of his wings. He roars deafeningly, and breaths fire into the air. My mom screams, and the cop pulls out his own gun. They must be able to see the dragon now. Not much else could explain its deafening roar, and the fire spewing. The dragon ignores the boy and starts trying he throw me off. I loose my grip on the sword when I dart over to grab his other wing to keep my balance. The boy takes this chance to jump on the dragon's back, then up its neck to its head. He takes his own sword and stabs down into the dragon's head. The dragon falls to its knees, making a few more weak attempts to snap at me, then falls dead completely. The boy jumps off on the way down. I jump off the dragon's back, and retrieve my sword. Eugh! It's got blood all over it now! The boy pulls his sword out of the dragon's head and looks over to me. He nods in thanks, then rushes off. I watch him go. Then I grab my mom's gun, nod at the cop for his bravery and get back into the car. My mom is freaking out inside. I calm her down, promising I'll explain everything when we get home, and we start driving again.
