The human woman whirls to her amber-colored, reptilian companion, the widest smile splitting her face. "You did it! We did it! I'm free. I'm free!" She raises her arms into the air and laughs. "I'm free!"
Ithizhas smiles at her friend, her excitement contagious. The Red Prince smiles as well, wiping sweat from his red-scaled brow after the fight and sheathing his weapon. His son, a tiny red dragon, mewls and nuzzles up against Lohse's leg. Even Sebille, the usually grim-faced elf, smiles at her companions. Setting Lohse free from the demon that possessed her was no small feat, but they can all agree that it was worth it.
Sir Lora-- mounted on his skeletal cat companion Quercus, as always-- hops up onto the banister to stand closer to his companion's head. Even the aloof squirrel is feeling the jovial energy Lohse seems to be radiating. Lohse smiles at Ithizha's, looking deep into her green, slitted eyes.
"So: Now that my voice is mine again... wanna hear a song?" The human asks, pushing some of her red hair out of her face.
"I'd love to," Ithizhas says, glancing at Sibille and the Red Prince, who seem ready to listen as well. Lohse's face lights up, and a spectral lute materializes in her hands, bathing the party in a warm yellow light. Ithizha's condor caws lightly as the woman begins to strum. He hops up onto the banister next to Quercus and Sir Lora, ruffling his feathers. The squirrel takes off his helmet and sets it down as he allows himself the slightest bit of relaxation, same as the rest of his companions.
Lohse begins to sing. "Come to me, the night is dark. Come to me, the night is long. Sing for me, I'll sing along. Sing for me, oh, sing for me. Sway with me, we'll make them scream. Dance with me, we'll make them bleed. Sing for me, I'll sing along. Sing for me, oh, sing for me."
She begins to sway and tap her feet to the music. More instruments pick up, harmonizing with Lohse, seemingly emanating from the air around her. The trio stand close together, watching their friend lose herself in the song. She closes her eyes, face radiating pure joy. The Red Prince's tiny, draconic son curls up on the ground next to Lohse, watching her dance from side to side with his bright red eyes.
None of the party are much for dancing, but they all find themselves swaying to Lohse's music alongside her. Even their animal companions-- the condor, Sir Lora and Quercus-- shift slightly to the jovial tune. As they watch and listen, the song begins to taper down.
"Listen, you do know me. Listen, swing and roll me. Listen, I'm calling you..!" The tune continues on for a few seconds after that, gradually slowing down until it falls away. The party erupts into applause. Her friends clap for her, the Red Prince's son sounds his tiny roar, Sir Lora chitters encouragingly, the condor spreads his wings and flaps them triumphantly.
Loshe focuses her ecstatic, blue eyes back on Ithizhas. "I love that song. But... I'm not even sure who wrote it. Maybe it was me, maybe it was one of the voices. Maybe a bit of both." She smiles slightly, hums a little melody- nothing Ithizhas has ever heard before. "I guess it's time to start on new material. Now... onwards."
