Once a thriving metropolis for the dominant species of the planet, now a desolate, flooded wasteland. At least, thats how it looks on the surface. But dive below the waves and you'll find a beautiful vibrant ecosystem. Creatures of all shapes and sizes swim the depths. Along the suburban outskirts of the city, fish large and small swim along sidewalks and streets. Crocodiles, alligators, sarcosuchuses and more sit on the barely submerged porches and patios, waiting for their next meal to swim close enough to snatch. Birds of all kinds sit on roof tops and overturned cars sticking just out of the cool, blue water. A dimorphodon and a sea eagle engage in mortal combat over a large salmon that both happened to grab at once, while vultures and argentavises circle overhead, awaiting the looser's fall. In midtown, trees grow out of the buildings and straight from the swamp's floor. Predatory fish stalk the maze of roots and lamp posts. Piranhas, barracudas, water snakes, sabertooth salmon, and more lie in wait inside abandoned cars and broken buildings, waiting for anything to swim by. Downtown is a huge open space where leviathans of the deep swim. An ancient, genetically modified ceratopsian grazes peacefully on the kelp and sea grass that flourishes in its territory. A family of small krakens migrate through the streets, catching anything they can to eat along their way to more open waters. A huge predatory leviathan snakes around buildings and slithers through the water, eyes darting back and forth, vigilant for anything it can mindlessly consume to grow larger and stronger.
