"He went this way!" The thundering rumble of many footsteps charge through the streets of Endromidus. Police sirens and barking dogs can be heard in the distance. A single enderman weaves through the near empty streets in the dark of night. However, streetlights illuminate the path he takes. He fails to get hidden in time as a number of people come around the corner after him. A centaur charges ahead of a few more Runners. A dryad, a vampire, a satyr, and a werecat in the form of a leopard. All species known for their speed, and assigned within the Endromic Fighters as such. The endermen barely keeps away from them with his teleportation, but something is keeping him from teleporting more than a few feet. The blades of a helicopter can be heard now. It won't be long before he's overwhelmed. He runs with a destination in mind. He won't make it past the walls. He needs another escape. The portal to Lorkel. Suddenly the street around him lights up with blinding light. The helicopter is directly above him and shining it's light at him. "Stop! Surrender now and you won't be harmed!" A magnified voice calls from the chopper. The enderman ignores it. Almost there. He turns another corner, still dodging attempts by the Runners behind him, and the glowing blue portal comes into view. The portal controls will be unmanned this late at night, and no one will get there in time to close it. He charges on, invigorated by the home stretch. Suddenly another enderman appears in front of the fleein fugitive. He teleports just in time to avoid being grabbed. If he gets teleported away by another enderman, it's over. A third enderman lands in front of him and dives to grab him. He narrowly slips away, never coming into contact with her. The pair keep up with him even better than the Runners, due to their teleportation. Almost there! Finally, he's so close he can feel the warmth from the great portal. He practically dives through, and the Runners and other endermen follow suit. The fugitive materializes through the portal. In the dark streets of Lorkel, with no electric lights, and no chopper chasing him, it should be easy to disappear into the night. Before he can teleport away, though, a spell cast from nearby suddenly leaves him stripped of the ability. His eyes widen as a dark form drops from above and lands right in front of him. Before he can stop himself, he slides into the front legs of Ealandor. As the head of Endromic Lorkel defense he spends more time in Lorkel than most other Endromic residents. Ealandor growls, black smoke puffing forth from his nostrils. The enderman looks up in fear and anger. He's been caught. Soon, the Runners that we're chasing him appear through the portal and take him back to Endromidus in handcuffs. Ealandor follows them through.
