I'm hanging around, eating some grass, watching the hens and Alpha rooster inside the coop. Lucky guy, he gets all the hens. At least I'm not imprisoned in such a small cage. I get to free roam and eat grass to my hearts content. The humans aren't home. It's just us animals. The demons are inside the fence, close to the house. I'm steering clear of them. I wander towards the pig pen. These guys are new. They keep escaping their pen and rooting around in my territory. My spurs cannot pierce their hide, so they ignore me. They are trying to escape again. The humans will be mad when they get home. I watch as all four piglets crawl under their fence and start eating the grass. Ugh! Why do they have to do this in my territory? Go up the hill and do it. They start wandering closer towards the demons' fence. I caw a warning to the young trespassers, but they ignore me. They start rooting around right against the fence. The three demons inside start running around and barking, riled up by the piglets' proximity. The pigs heed them no mind. I crow again, telling the pigs to back off before something bad happens. I only succeed in riling up the demons more. Suddenly the white demon starts digging and crawling under the fence. I know what this means. I jump on top of the coop, out of the reach of the demon, before it can get out. The pigs still ignore it. Then she succeeds in escaping. She immediately barks, and jumps on the closest piglet, the runt of the four. She squeals loudly and tries to run away. The other three run away, but the demon has the runt pinned with her claws. I can't watch this anymore. I jump off the coop, using my wings to fly over the concrete pad and land next to the demon. I jump up and spur the white devil. She jumps, and whimpers. Her fur is not enough to stop my talons. I spur her again, getting her on her bare back. The crawl under the fence was not kind to her, tearing off much of her fur. She is now bleeding. She has let the piglet go, and is now focusing on me. I turn to jump away, but she bites into my back. She starts swinging me around in the vice grip of her jaws. She tears off my feathers, and lets me go. I try to ignore the pain and run away. She doesn't attack me, but chases down the piglets. I don't care anymore. I go and stand next to the coop, in a pained daze, as the demon kills one of the piglets and chases the others off. It starts raining, so she runs to cover in front of the human's house, and away from me. I stand in the rain, shocked into a mindless daze...
"This is a true story. My freaking dog actually got out and attacked my rooster, and killed one of my pigs. Gosh dang it, Luna!" -Tiny.
