Keith One Shots

~Ignored Pt. 1/2~

Allura, Shiro, Coran, Hunk and Lance were all standing in the healing pod room, waiting for their teammates to finish healing. Pidge and Keith were in healing pods after they had got injured during their last missions. They were talking about the mission as they heard two hisses and they all ran over to a pod....

Keith's P.O.V

I felt myself fall out of the healing pod and face plant into the floor. Honestly, I had expected for someone to catch me or something, but I guess they were in another room. My vision was blurry so all I could see where smudged colours. I rubbed my eyes, trying to look straight. Eventually I managed to get them into focus enough to see Pidge fall out of a pod and Lance catch her. Then I realised, all the paladins were surrounding the pod she had just been in.

I tried to stand up, but my legs were too shaky and I ended up just staying where I was. I watched as the paladins asked Pidge questions.

'Are you okay?'

'Are you hurt?'

'Do you need help standing?'

I was a bit confused as to why no one was helping me, but I ignored it for now and tried to get up. I eventually managed to stand without falling over, but my legs still felt weak and shaky.

I looked in the direction of the pod Pidge was in, about to ask the team what would happened. But when I looked I was met with the emptiness of the room.

They had left.....

It had been a few days since I had fallen out of the healing pod, and I had noticed that everyone was acting strange around me. I went to talk to Hunk in the kitchen one morning and he pushed me out and said that I was 'Distracting him from his cooking'. I found this weird because he normally loved company when cooking.

Still, that wasn't the weirdest thing to have happened. I noticed Coran was cleaning the healing pods. I remembered that Lance had to help him a while ago so I asked him if he wanted help now. He looked at me with a dull face and simply replied with 'I can't let inexperienced humans touch the advanced technology' even though Lance helped him once. Something told me that he was lying.

Now I was heading to Shiro's room. I was planning on asking him why Allura had acted as if i didn't exist when I asked her if she needed help making plans on a galra attack. I knew Shiro would listen to me. After all, he always does....

I arrived in his room and knocked on his door. A few ticks later he opened the door, a smile on his face. When he saw me, I noticed his smiling expression turned into a dull expression. I ignored it and began talking.

"Hey Shiro. Do you know what's up with Allura? She was completely blocking me out earlier and I wondered if there was anything wrong"

Shiro gave me a glare. The I-dont-want-to-talk-to-you-right-now glare. Then he sighed and just said "Well maybe you should give her space"

"o-oh. Is she alright though?"

Shiro frowned. "It's not really your business is it now Keith!?"he shouted and with that he slammed the door in my face before I could get another word in. I stared at his door in disbelief.

Did Shiro just.....

That wasn't the last time Shiro acted weird. It only got worse from there. I noticed that everyone was acting toxic around me. They all made plans behind my back. They all trained without me. Heck, they even went on missions without me. I was getting sick and tired of all the lies they told me and all the rude comments they threw at me. It was about time I got some answers.

I stomped into the control room. As I entered, the room went dead silent. Everyone glared at me as if I was some sort of freak. I stood where all of them could see me and spoke.

"Can someone tell me what the quiznak is going on around here!" I shouted, making sure all of them knew what I was saying. When I got no reply I spoke again.

"You have all been giving me death glares and keeping me out of things for almost two weeks now!"

...

still no reply

"Someone just tell me. Did I do something wrong?" I felt my blood boiling in anger.

......

nothing

"Well go on?"

........

"SOMEONE JUST TELL ME WHY YOU HATE ME!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. Everyone just watched me, then a few seconds later someone finally spoke.

"Did you hear something?"

Lance's words made me want to cry. But I kept a strong look. I walked over to Lance and stood in front of Lance. He avoided eye contact as much as he possibly could.

I put my hands on his shoulder and gave him a tiny shake. He pretended not to feel anything.

"LANCE!" I shouted.

"I feel like whatever the sound was, it should get out of my face" Lance said, gritting his teeth as he said it.

I grabbed his face and turned it to face mine. He resisted so I started putting more of my strength into it.

That... was a big mistake

SLAP

I felt a hand hit my face and my cheek started feeling hot and painful. I looked up at the thing that had hit me.

Allura.

"HOW DARE YOU TRY AND FIGHT YOUR OWN TEAM! GET OUT OF THIS ROOM BEFORE I DO SOMETHING I REGRET!"

tears were forming in my eyes as I listened to Allura's cold words. I wasn't even trying to hurt him, never mind fight him! I decided this was the best way to get answers.

"WHY ARE YOU IGNORING ME?! WHAT DID I DO!?"

"I DON'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU AND NEITHER DOES ANYONE ELSE! NOW GET OUT!"

I hesitated before doing as Allura asked. I knew she would never give me the answers I needed. I left the room, tears threatening to spill. Once I got in my room, I let it all out.

I cried and cried until I couldn't cry anymore. I felt so weak. So pathetic. But at the same time, so confused.

What had I done?

Why were they being so harsh?

Maybe they just.....

didn't want me here?

I'm so evil. I'll make a part 2 if I feel like it. But it might be short. I don't know yet. Anyways hope you liked the KANGST!
