Keith One Shots

~The Witch B*tch Pt. 3/3~

This is gonna be the last part of The Witch B*tch because I'm a lazy child. Uh yea so... here it is... I'm awkward...bye..

Third P.O.V

"And then we bring the purple orb back to you and boom! You're complete again!" Lance shouted, finishing explaining the plan to Keith. It'd taken about two weeks to figure it out but they'd finally done it. Now all they had to do was execute the plan properly.

"So when are you doing this?" Keith asked, resting his back on the wall behind him. Ever since he felt the horrible pain of trying to walk down those long corridors he hadn't left his bed ever since. He figured out that he could walk and stuff, just not for long periods of time.

"We're arriving at the ship Haggar is on tomorrow so probably then. Now it's important that you stay here this time, Keith" Shiro said, using his dad voice. Keith rolled his eyes and nodded.

"All we have to is pour this potion over the purple orb that'll be with Haggar" Pidge explained, holding up a bottle filled with purple liquid. "Then we can take the orb without it teleporting back to Haggar. After that we bring it back to you and when it touches you you'll gain your galra half back . The only downfall is that once we pour the potion on the orb, it isn't indestructible anymore, meaning it could break and then you'd be like this forever"

"But uh... you wont let that happen, right?" Keith said, slightly worried.

"Nope!" Lance shouted.

"Well I mean there is a chance that we could pour the potion over the orb and it drops immediately meaning it would shatter and there's quite a chance of that happening seeing Haggar will be fighting back. Not to mention the potion could fail and break the orb or maybe the orb was already destroyed somehow or maybe the orb wont connect back to you but hey who knows" Pidge said, pushing her glasses onto her face properly.

"Pidge, you're scaring him!" Hunk said, pointing to Keith who'd gone a little paler.

"W-what? Me? Scared? Pfft no. I-It's not like my whole role on the team relies on you four retrieving something from a scary witch who could literally destroy you all in seconds and not to mention I'd be kicked off of the team if it failed" Keith blurted out, scratching the back of his neck. Shiro let out a chuckle and put his hand on Keith's shoulder.

"Don't even worry, Keith. We'll get your galra part back." He said, giving Keith a soft smile.

When Keith went to bed that night, his dreams were plagued with darkness. He dreamt of the orb breaking and his galra half being lost forever. He dreamt of the red lion rejecting him. He dreamt of him being kicked out. He was useless.

The next morning, Keith lay there in bed, wondering what to do. Voltron were going to be leaving soon, meaning he'd be all alone. Don't get him wrong, he trusted them all with his life. But something inside of him was bugging him. What if they failed? What if they needed to form Voltron but they couldn't? He wanted to help.

He slowly got out of bed and crept outside. Was there a way he could be on the mission without the team knowing?

He made his way to the black lion, deciding maybe he could hide in Black. Black let him in surprisingly, but something told Keith that Black would tell Shiro and rat him out.

"Hey Black? I know I'm not your paladin and stuff but I was wondering if you could like, not rat me out? I want to help, okay? You don't have to respond but please don't tell Shiro I'm hiding in here"

There was a moment of silence before Keith got a response.

As you wish, Red paladin.

Keith was surprised Black actually replied seeing Keith wasn't the Black paladin but he didn't question it. He found a small box he could hide behind and sat there, catching his breath back. This was probably a reckless decision but he planned on helping so that was exactly what he was going to do. Soon enough Shiro appeared in the black lion and they were off.
