Keith had been missing classes lately. He had a perfect reason he was missing classes, he just wasn't willing to share it. The garrison were starting to get fed up...

Keith's P.O.V

I was staring out of the classroom window, not paying any attention to the instructor at all. I really wasn't in the mood to learn right now.

I heard the classroom door open and I turned around to see who had entered. There was a man with dark hair and a huge smile standing at the door. He must of been a new instructor or something because I had never seen him before. I looked down at his name tag. 'Takashi Shirogane' was written in huge letters.

"Please may I borrow Keith Kogane?" Takashi asked, glancing around the room for me.

All the other kids started staring at me, giving me looks as if I had done something terrible. I sighed and picked my bag up, shoving my stuff in and dragging myself over to Takashi.

Takashi thanked the teacher and closed the door, leaving just me and him in the corridor. He beamed at me and I just rolled my eyes. I knew he was just trying to make it seem as if I wasn't in trouble.

He lead me down a few corridors before we finally arrived at an office. He opened the door and held it open for me, smiling at me once again. I responded in the same way, rolling my eyes but this time I sighed as well.

He closed the door and sat down at his desk. He then signalled me over, pointing towards the seat in front of his desk. I nervously sad down, waiting for him to start shouting.

Instead of shouting Takashi just spoke. "Hello Keith. I was told to have a little chat with you about your attendance."

"I'm surprised it took you people so long to finally talk to me" I responded bitterly.

Takashi looked as if he really didn't see that coming. He gave me a confused look, but then continued to smile.

"So what's been keeping you from staying in the Garrison? Why do you keep sneaking off grounds?" He seemed curious now.

"Look, Takash-"

"Shiro. Call me Shiro"

I sighed. "Fine. Look Shiro, it's none of your business."

"It is if you keep skipping classes. You might get yourself kicked out"

I froze at his words. If I got kicked out, I would have no where to go. I would have to go into care or something. I really couldn't let that happen. But at the same time, I couldn't miss visiting him...

Shiro must've noticed me tense up because he began to talk more. "You don't want to get yourself kicked out, do you Keith? So tell me. Where have you been going?"

"J-just random places. No where in particular" I don't think Shiro believed me.

"Do you go home for the day?" Shiro said, starting to type on his computer. I flinched at the word 'home'. I didn't exactly have one anymore....

"No I don't sir" I thought maybe if I acted more professional he would let me go.

He gave me a stare as if he didn't believe me.
