You don't have to read this paragraph by the way. It's basically me just thanking you in more depth.

100k reads. Wow. When I started this book, I didn't think it'd last. I never thought that a year later I'd still enjoy writing it but here I am. I just wanted to say thank you for leaving comments, voting on my story, adding it to your list or just simply reading it. I think we can all agree that we all have that one author we memorise the name of, returning to their book almost every day and enjoying it just as much. I hope that for some, I'm that author. Anyways, enjoy the chapter.

(Based on Season 7 seeing as the day I'm writing this it came out exactly 1 year ago)

Third P.O.V

"We're having a baby!"

The not-yet-swallowed water shot out of Keith's mouth, spilling onto the floor and down his Garrison uniform. He paused for a second, wondering if his ears were deceiving him.

"You're... what?"

"I'm pregnant, Keith. Kolivan and I decided about a month ago that we wanted to start a new family together and well, here's our chance." Krolia explained, a wide grin on her face. Keith's heart sunk in his chest at the words "new family". Wasn't Keith enough?

"I uhmm.." Keith cleared his throat, searching his mind for a way to respond. "Wow.."

"I may need correcting, but aren't humans meant to congratulate the news of another's pregnancy, like the galra do?" Kolivan asked.

"No no!" Keith waved his hands about. He needed to get out of here. "I uh- Sorry. Well done on uh- Well done on the new family thing. I just- I just remembered I have to be somewhere."

"Isn't today your free day?" Krolia asked.

"Well yeah but- I just remembered uh.. Shiro! Yeah um Shiro wanted to talk to me. So I gotta get going. Bye." Before Krolia or Kolivan could intervene, Keith dashed out of the room. Kolivan frowned before rolling his eyes.

"I told you he wouldn't take it well." Krolia stated.

"I was unaware that he would react so dramatically." Kolivan let out a sigh. "I thought humans were normally excited for family additions."

"From what I've heard, that's not always the case. Keith's father told me about how sometimes people will see additional family members as replacements rather than additions."

"That's stupid." Kolivan's face scrunched up in confusion. "The kit should be happy for us. He knew you wanted this."

"I know, darling, I know." Krolia wrapped her arms around Kolivan. "I'm sure Keith just feels a bit neglected. He'll come around eventually."

Shiro's eyes began to sting, most likely from all the electronic's he's been staring at. He had to admit, being the leader of ATLAS was quite a task. He decided that he needed to take a break and pour himself a cup of coffee. As he was stirring his drink, there was a knock at the door.

"Come in." Shiro called, hearing the puff of air as the doors opened. When he turned around, coffee in hand, he came face to face with an unusual sight; a sad Keith.

"Keith? What's wrong?" Shiro asked, noticing the way the black paladin fiddled with the corner of his uniform.

"I um- It's nothing. Just- Did you know Krolia and Kolivan are having a baby?"

Ah, so that's what this is about. Shiro knew that Keith would react badly. To be honest, he'd expected an angry, jealous Keith to stomp in his room, knocking things over and demanding that it wasn't fair. He'd never have expected Keith to be so quiet.
