~Prison Memories Pt. 2/2~

Hola guys! This was requested by Supersast. Just so you know, I'm not a professional at any of this and my advice in this chapter is not checked by anyone professional. Although I'd like to think my advice would help people in similar situations but I cannot assume it will. Basically, although some of the things mentioned may help, I can't confirm that it will. Sorry for the long rant but I don't want people taking my advice thinking it's 100% the right thing to do when it might not be. Okay chapter time now.

Keith's P.O.V

I stood outside Shiro's door, Lance beside me. It was early in the morning and we'd decided now was the best time to talk to him, mostly due to the fact that no one would really disturb us. I looked at Lance and he gave me a reassuring smile.

"Are you ready, darling?" He asked, holding my hand.

"Not really..."

"Well here we go then" Lance said, knocking on the door. I gripped his hand a little tighter as Shiro opened the door, a tired look on his face.

"Are you two okay? It's not like Lance to be up this early" Shiro said, chuckling slightly. Lance looked at me as if expecting me to speak but I kept my mouth shut, suddenly regretting this plan.

"Keith wants to talk to you about something" Lance said, pushing me forward slightly.

"Okay uh, come in I guess" Shiro said, walking to the bed. I pulled Lance with me and sat on the bed next to Shiro, sitting him down too. There was no way I was talking about this without boyfriend support.

"So what is it?" Shiro asked, smiling at me.

"I-I uh.." I looked to Lance, hoping he'd say it for me but he just raised his eyebrows as if trying to encourage me to say it. "I-I had a nightmare last night..."

"You did? What about?"

"I-It was about the galra... a-and what they did to me while I was in prison" I mumbled. I was trying to procrastinate talking about what it was but Shiro wasn't having it.

"What happened while you were in prison?"

"W-Well uh... I was tortured... I-I got electrocuted.... didn't get food either..." I said, looking down at Lance's hand and fiddling with it.

"Anything else?" Shiro asked, seeming to be taking a mental note of these things. I stayed silent before Lance nudged me slightly.

"Come on, Keith. You need to tell him, sweetheart" Lance said. I felt my eyes start to tear up again and I buried my face into Lance's shoulder, the memories coming back.

"Hey hey hey, it's okay sugar." Lance said, hugging Keith close. Shiro gave him a worried look.

"Keith was... he was raped" Lance said, getting a shocked reaction from Shiro. "I found him in the kitchen earlier screaming and crying because he thought I was the galra who'd done it"

"Oh Keith.." Shiro said, rubbing my back gently.

"I-I'm sorry..." I said through sobs.

"What are you sorry for?" Shiro asked.

"I-I wasn't strong enough t-to fight him off" I sobbed, burying my face further into Lance's shoulder.

"Don't be sorry, Keith. You couldn't have fought him off." Shiro said.

"I-I feel like he's s-still after me... I-I still feel him a-all over me and it's disgusting" I explained, clutching Lance's jacket tightly.

"We promise you, Keith. We wont let anything like that happen to you ever again. You didn't deserve it at all, no one deserves it." Lance explained, kissing my head.
