Based on season two

The paladins were about to visit a uninhabited planet to have a break from all the fighting. It was said that the planet would react differently to certain alien races. Princess Allura had checked that it was safe for Alteans and Humans and it was perfectly fine. However, there is a certain race she didn't check...

"Are you sure this planet is safe for us?" Shiro asked, looking over to Allura.

"I assure you Shiro, it's safe for humans and Alteans" Allura replied, smiling in return. I found it weird how she didn't check to see if this planet was safe for galra but I shrugged it off, not wanting to think about my galra half. I'm sure I would be fine.

We all exited the castle and started walking on the planet. The planet had weird purple looking grass and bright yellow flowers were scatted across the ground. Apart from that, the planet was just like a huge field. Lance and Hunk ran ahead, arms waving around crazily. None of us were wearing our armour as apparently this planet was living and wouldn't let us get hurt unless we were the race it didn't like. Allura was walking beside Coran, probably talking about Altea. Pidge was holding up a piece of paper in Shiro's face, showing him her recent work. As for me, I was slacking behind at the back, my arms crossed and a frown on my face. I wasn't a very social person (same) and this planet was giving me a weird vibe. Maybe I was just being paranoid.

After a few minutes of walking we found a huge patch of flowers and Coran decided it was a good place for us all to sit down and have a picnic. He first set out a huge blanket and set down a basket. He opened to basket to reveal a load of alien treats. We all sat down on the blanket, me sitting slightly further away from the others, and Hunk passed around plates while Lance took the food out of the basket and set it on the blanket. Everyone grabbed some food and began eating. Well, almost everyone. I just sat there, watching everyone eat. I didn't feel in the mood to eat for some reason. Something was putting me off the food, but I couldn't tell what. I hugged my knees and watched the others chat and enjoy themselves, wishing I could have the guts to join in. Something didn't feel right about this whole place but I really couldn't put my finger on it.

"Aren't you gonna eat anything?" Shiro asked, nudging me slightly, pulling me out of my thoughts. I shook my head a little and Shiro gave me a concerned look.

"Are you okay? You seem a little quiet" He pointed out. I just nodded slightly and looked down at the floor. I admit it, I was being a little quiet, but I didn't exactly know why. It was as if I had suddenly became super shy in a matter of seconds. I must've zoned out for a few minutes as when Lance got my attention, everyone was finished eating.

"Look guys! The flowers are doing something!" Lance exclaimed, pointing around us. I looked at the flowers and sure enough they were changing slightly. The middle part of the flower bloomed open and let out a weird yellow dust that surrounded us.

"Wow this weird yellow dust tastes of honey!" Hunk shouted, opening his mouth up wide. The rest of the group nodded in agreement but I didn't taste honey at all. All I experienced was a soap-like taste. It felt a lot stronger then soap and made a weird burning sensation at the back of my throat, making me cough slightly. When I stopped coughing, I realised everyone was looking at me with a worried look.

"Keith buddy, you alright there?" Hunk asked. Once again it was as if a huge wave of shyness hit me as all I replied with was a small nod. The rest of the group seemed pretty convinced so we all packed away the picnic and carried on walking. Once again, I slacked behind, watching as the air seemed to fill with this yellow dust.

We had been walking for a while now and the dust was still there. It hurt my throat even more now and I could feel a slight head ache coming over me. I ignored it and carried on walking, keeping quiet about it.
