Keith One Shots

~The Ice Planet~

This was requested by Nahiko-chan and its based on around season 2.

The paladins had been fighting the galra and seemed to be fine. That was until a laser was aimed at Lance and Keith flew his lion in front of Lance's. He managed to stop it from hitting Lance but he was hit himself and his lion started plummeting towards the nearest planet. Keith managed to pull the nose of his lion up but that didn't stop it from crashing straight into the planet's surface and knocking Keith unconscious...

Keith's P.O.V

I let out a groan slightly as I sat up in my chair, hearing a slight ringing in my ears. My whole body ached, especially my shoulder. I grabbed my lion's controls and tried to get Red to move. She remained still which was understandable. She had just been hit with a laser and crashed into a planets surface after all. Look's like I was stuck.

I stood up and ignored the pain in my legs as I exited my lion. There was a bigger chance of the team finding me if I was outside calling for them. Once I was outside I could see that I was on a planet of mostly ice and water. Great. I considered myself lucky due to the fact I had landed on the only bit of land. Otherwise I might've drowned.

"Well now what" I said to myself, leaning on the side of Red. My shoulder had started to hurt more so I took off the armour in that area and took a look at it. I could now see that it was a deep purple colour and had a few cuts on. I sighed and put my armour back on, already starting to feel cold. 

It had been a few hours and I was beginning to shiver. Snowflakes had started falling from the sky so I had attempted to get back into my lion. Just to top my luck, the cold weather had sealed the Red lion's entrance shut and Red wouldn't open her mouth because of how tired she was. Therefore, I had to stay outside. My shoulder pain was getting worse and I had started to get tired but I kept myself awake. I was starting to drift off when I suddenly heard static from my helmet.

"-eith! -re yo- the-?" I stood up properly and started adjusting my comm.

"Hello? Can you hear me?" I shouted, wincing at the pain in my shoulder as I walked around a bit. It seemed that every bit of movement ended in my shoulder hurting. Not to mention that was just the worst bit of pain. The rest of my body was hurting too.

"Keith? Keith are you there?!" I heard the other person say. Was that Lance or Pidge? I couldn't tell.

"I'm here, I'm here." I said, resting myself against Red again. My whole body had started hurting more and the cold weather made me shiver violently.

"It's Lance. Are you okay?" Lance said, worry clear in his voice.

"Yeah I'm fine. Red's down and I'm locked out of her"

"How did you manage to get locked out of your own lion!?" Lance said, probably flailing his arms around, knowing how animated he can be.

"Well I came out to see if I could find anyone but then when I went to go back into Red she wouldn't open up and the emergency exit was frozen over" I replied, clutching my shoulder that was now starting to really hurt. I heard Lance mutter the word "idiot" under his breath.

"Did you try heating your suit up? You know, with the heater Pidge installed?"

"Duh I tried that but it didn't work. It just made my suit colder"
