Nahiko-chan requested something so I decided it would work as a part 2 for this so yeah. Also don't play the song yet!

Keith had been teaching the others dancing for a while now. Every other night the group would all go into the training room and Keith would give them tips and help them out. Allura and Coran were pretty good at classical music and Pidge was good at dancing to hip hop. As for Hunk and Shiro, they were still learning. Lance was pretty good in general but nothing compared to Keith. Keith would sometimes sneak out on other nights to practise more advanced stuff. He practised slow dancing in hopes that someday he would have enough courage to ask Lance to dance with him.

Third P.O.V

"Looks like it'll just be me and you tonight"

Those were the words Keith had been waiting to hear from Lance for ages. He had to contain his squeal and try not to look as pleased as he felt. Keith nodded and and walked away before he could start blushing too much. This was going to be the night he asked Lance to dance with him. He wasn't going to let this opportunity go to waste.

He had been crushing on Lance for a long time but he never had the guts to tell him. Especially seeing as Lance had claimed Keith as his rival when they first met. He thought that a slow dance with Lance would be the first step to forming a better bond. Of course Lance had no idea what he was getting into by refusing Pidge's offer to a game night.

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

Keith tapped his foot on the ground as he impatiently waited for Lance. He was already a mess and he just wanted to get the asking part over with. Lance finally walked into the training room and was met with a pacing Keith.

"What took you so long?" Keith asked, an angry expression on his face.

"Sorry. Pidge was acting all weird around me and I was trying to figure out what was up" Lance replied, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly.

"I would've thought you'd pick game night over dancing" Keith said, only now asking himself why Lance wanted to dance instead of having the chance to beat Pidge at 'Super Smash Bros'.

"Well I didn't want you to be alone plus now I get private lessons" Lance said, grinning slightly. Keith rolled his eyes and smiled.

"So what are we doing today coach. Rock? Hip Hop?" Lance asked, stretching his arms behind his back.

Keith suddenly felt all the courage drain out of him. He was so sure tonight was the night but now he felt like he couldn't even tell Lance the song. All his confidence had left him to deal with the situation on his own. Keith mentally thanked his confidence for that.

"U-uh I was thinking..." Keith paused for a second, trying to pull himself together. "I was thinking we could dance to.... to 'Flashlight' by Jessie J" Keith said, a blush already forming upon his face.

"Okay. So what type of dance should we do?" Lance asked. Of course Lance would have to ask that one question Keith didn't want to answer.

"W-well the song w-would b-be better as a slow dance" Keith said, looking down at the floor in embarrassment. "I-Its okay if you don't want to it was just an idea but we could just da-"

"It's perfect" Lance interrupted, looking into Keith's eyes. Keith walked over to the boom box and pressed a few buttons before walking back to Lance. Lance put his hands on Keith's waist and Keith did the same. Keith's heart was beating out of his chest right now but he ignored the nervous feeling.

PLAY THE MUSIC GO GO GO!

The music started to play and the two boys started slowly dancing around the room. They were both a nervous mess and were extremely tense but as after a few seconds of dancing they became comfortable in each others presence. They looked deep into each others eyes, almost as if they were reading each others next moves. As the words started playing the two boys found each other lost in their own world, dancing happily. They smiled at each other softly as their foot steps started to go into perfect harmony with each other. They had started with simple steps that most people knew, but as the music sped up, they started taking bigger steps and more risky moves.

The two were now completely comfortable as they soared across the room, enjoying every second with each other. The experience felt magic as their moves matched perfectly as if they had practise this a million times. If anyone had been watching they wouldn't think this was actually their first dance together. They both found themselves gliding across the room happily with no control. The music did the work for them. All they had to was enjoy the moment.

Lance started lifting Keith off the ground every few seconds. Keith was surprised at first and almost missed the landing but he came to his senses just in time. Lance chuckled at the slight mistake as the two continued to glide around the room. Lance lifted Keith a second time and Keith matched the action with his arms, making the lift perfect.

Now it was time for Lance to be surprised. Keith twirled Lance around and caught Lance off guard, almost tripping him over. Just before Lance could hit the ground Keith grabbed him by the hand and pulled him up, taking Lance by surprise. Keith smiled and the two continued dancing in sinc. Keith found himself liking Lance even more then he already did. This was like a dream come true for him and it had been even better then he expected.

Lance on the other hand, felt himself falling for Keith. The way Keith's hair flowed with every movement. The way Keith's eyes glowed a slight purple in the light. The way Keith smiled softly at him. Lance had knew he didn't really hate Keith but they had been rivals for so long that Lance didn't know what he thought of him. He now knew that he had feelings for Keith. He wanted Keith to be his.

Soon the song started coming to a close and Lance took Keith by the hand, leading him into his chosen pose. He swung Keith around one final time before pulling him down to the ground into a dip as an ending pose. (if you don't know what a dip is search "dancing dip"). Keith and Lance stayed there for a few seconds, frozen in time as they searched each others eyes. They were both lightly blushing, a small smile on their faces.

This was just the start of an amazing bond...

Bonus:

"Wow this is so beautiful" Hunk whispered, wiping a single tear drop from is eye.

"Are you seriously crying at this!?" Shiro whispered, looking at Hunk.

"I have to admit Pidge, pretending we were doing game night so we could watch Lance and Keith was a good idea. But how did you know Lance wouldn't want to come?" Allura asked, a confused expression on her face.

"I knew Lance would rather stay with Keith. He wouldn't miss an opportunity like this one" Pidge replied, watching Lance and Keith as they took in each others faces for a few seconds.

"Do you think they will tell us about this?" Shiro asked, ruffling Pidge's hair.

"Not a chance. But this wont be the last time they dance together"

The rest then all continued staring at the dancers from the doorway as the two put on a new song.

You maybe wondering, was Pidge correct about this not being the last time they danced together?

Yes....

Yes she was....

That took way too long to write but it was totally worth it. The song took a while to choose but I was glad once I found this one. If you read it at a certain speed you'll find that the words match the music which took forever to do. I'm thinking of starting a proper fan fiction instead of just one-shots but I can't think of any ideas. Plus as you can tell from the incomplete one-shots on here I'm not very good at continuing story lines. We will see what happens. Please feel free to request more stuff and just have a conversation with me in general. I like talking to you people. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed!
