Keith One Shots

This was requested by AutobotsPrincess13 and I'm so glad because I LOVE writing about Shiro and Keith's relationship as brothers. This is based around season 7 while the paladins are travelling. Here yee goOooOOoO!

Third P.O.V

"Are we there yettt?" Lance asked, banging his head against his control board.

"Lance, for the 1000th time, do you see earth?" Pidge said over the comms.

"Well no but-"

"That means that we aren't there!" Shiro gently put his hand on her shoulder, calming the green paladin down a little. She was a bit tense.

"It's gonna take a while for us to get there, Lance. You'll know when we're there because of our solar system. Try not to keep asking about it for now, okay?" Shiro said in his dad voice.

"Okay. Sorry, I'm just really excited" Lance explained.

"Yeah, we all are." Shiro said.

"Hopefully they wont tie you to a table again" Keith said, chuckling slightly.

"Well hopefully Sam told them about the galra and they're preparing in case of an attack" Shiro said, running his fingers through his hair.

"They might not recognise you with your white hair" Lance laughed.

"And the fact that I'm missing an arm" Shiro deadpanned.

"How are you doing injury wise by the way? We had quite a violent fight and we haven't exactly had the chance to make sure you're okay" Keith said, worried for Shiro.

"Keith, I could've sworn you said Shiro's clone was winning the fight and you were getting destroyed." Lance said.

"Well yeah but I still wanna make sure Shiro's oka-"

"Why are you constantly worrying about Shiro?" Lance butted in.

"Um because I care about him..?" Keith questioned.

"I know but you seem to care a lot more about him than you care about any of us" Lance said, sounding a little irritated.

"It's not that I don't care about any one else. It's just I've known Shiro for longer and he's like my brother." Keith mumbled shyly. He could practically hear Shiro smiling through the comms.

"Weren't you like, the loner when we were back in the Garrison? How and when did you and Shiro become so close?" Lance asked.

"Well I met Keith when he was literally the tiniest guy in the world. He was a Mr stare-out-the-window-like-an-anime-character kinda boy" Shiro laughed.

"Okay first off I wasn't that small. Second off, I just liked staring out of the window, okay?" Keith said, defending his child self.

"I can see where you're coming from Keith. I liked to stare out the window too" Pidge said, thinking back to her days in school when she had long hair.

"Anyways, I taught Keith's class for a flight simulator practise. His class all got a try on the simulator and the teacher selected the few she thought would be good for the Garrison. She didn't pick Keith at first but I soon persuaded her" Shiro explained, pausing for a second.

"She was a b*tch" Keith muttered.

"Language" Shiro warned in his dad voice. Keith let out a chuckle.

"From there Keith got into the Garrison and started-"

"You forgot the time I stole your car" Keith said, laughing cheekily.
