Thank you for 20K!!!!! This is kind of a little special chapter of moments on the space whale with Keith and Krolia. Honestly why are you reading my book its not even that good especially the first few chapters. So uh yeah... here ye go.

Krolia and Keith sat in the cave, sharpening their tools. They wanted to make sure they were ready to fight anything that came at them. An awkward silence lingered in the air.

"How's your father?"

Keith flinched at the question. How was he supposed to tell Krolia that his dad had died? He knew he had to, but how? He put his weapon aside for a second and stared down at the ground.

"I-I hate to be the one to tell y-you this but... h-he passed away years ago" Keith's voice came out quiet and frail. "I-I'm so sorry"

Krolia looked shocked. She lowered her weapon slightly and looked at Keith with sad eyes. Keith was internally panicking. Should he hug her? Would that be too much? What should he say? Should he say anything? Should he have even told her in the first place? He cleared his throat.

"H-He died saving someone in a fire. H-He would've wanted t-to go out the heroes way i-if he was anything l-like me" Was that a bad thing to say? Should he just shut up? Is she gonna blame him? What should he do?

"H-He was a lot like you... you know.." Krolia said, wiping away the small tears that had started to form in her eyes. "Brave, strong, talented"

"Thanks.." Keith was so awkward. This was so awkward. Why did he tell her? There was another moment of silence.

"Wait, so where did you go?" Krolia asked. Keith sighed.

"A lot of places. I-It started off in an orphanage. I hated it there. Then I went to a space school called the Galaxy Garrison. I eventually got kicked out and ended up living alone for a few years. Then I found the blue lion with-"

"You found the blue lion!?" Krolia interrupted.

"Uh yeah... I found myself drawn to a certain energy so I researched it and four other people helped me find it. That's when we went up into space."

"Weird to think we both found the same lion" Krolia said, smiling softly. Keith smiled too, looking down at the floor still. "So what did you do with the lion then?"

"Well we flew up into space with it and found the other lions. We then made up Voltron"

"You're apart of Voltron?" Krolia was shocked. She had never expected her son to be the one to pilot a lion.

"I-I was. I piloted the red lion at first but then when the black paladin went missing I took his place. He eventually came back a-and after a couple tries we realised he could pilot black a-again so... I-I left"

"What?! They can't just kick you out like that!"

"T-They didn't. I-I chose to leave. I was a t-terrible leader so after g-getting the black paladin to reconnect with his l-lion I left with the blades.." Krolia could see that this was a touchy subject for Keith. It was hard to see but she could just about notice his eyes getting slightly glassy.

"I'm sure they miss you" she said. Keith smiled sadly and stood up.

"I-I don't think so" he said, walking over to his space pup and picking him up. "I-I was always more... distant"

Krolia knew what made Keith distant. It was the fact that he had lost both his parents at such a young age. She could tell that he didn't want to get close to people in case they left him. Ever since the two had met Keith had been trying to be distant. She would try to change that though. She was going to make up for all those years she wasn't there. And as if by luck, they had a long journey on a space whale in front of them.
