Hey guys. This is the first chapter I've written since addressing my random disappearance so don't be surprised if it sounds a little different. Here ya go.

(Based on the same season the majority of my one shots are based on. Season 2.)

Third P.O.V

Constructive criticism.

That's all Keith thought it was at first.

Shiro had pulled him aside to talk to him about something which was quite a common thing for Shiro to do. Normally he'd ask Keith if he was okay, tell him he'd been doing a good job or tell him something to do with their next mission.

This is why Keith was quite surprised when Shiro started talking about Keith's recent behaviour on missions.

"You need to be less reckless." He'd said. "If you keep running head first into danger it might get us all killed."

Keith didn't think he'd been doing anything unusual for him during missions. He was normally this reckless. Without questioning it too much, he briefly agreed to Shiro's advice and went on his way, thinking that would be the last of it.

It wasn't.

The following week Keith had been sitting in the kitchen, enjoying some "yummy" food goo, when all of a sudden Hunk walked in. He didn't seem to do much at first, just walk around the counters busying himself until he finally came and sat in front of Keith, fidgeting awkwardly and looking down at his hands.

"Um... can I help you?" Keith had asked.

"Yeah I uh... I just wanted to ask you about something." Hunk said, bringing his eyes to Keith's. "It's actually about... my cooking."

"Your cooking?" Keith questioned, searching his mind for any pointers as to what this conversation was about. When he found none, he continued. "What about your cooking?"

"Well you see, normally when I cook for you all, everyone always comes and tells me how good it was. Everyone except you..." Hunk trailed off on the last part.

"But I normally tell you how good it is at the table." Keith lazily stirred the food goo around his bowl.

"Yeah well... so do the others. But later they come and tell me they enjoyed it and stuff."

"So you think I don't like it?"

"Well no." Hunk twiddled his thumbs. "It's just everyone else does it and... you know.."

"I guess I could do it if you want me to...?" Keith wasn't really too sure what the problem was here. When Hunk served them food, Keith would smile at him fondly and thank him, telling him it smelt delicious. This was the truth of course; Keith loved Hunk's food.

"Okay then. I um- I guess I can do that?"

"Well it wont mean anything now that I've asked." Hunk mumbled anxiously.

"So what do you want me to do?"

"Just- Nevermind." Hunk huffed, rolling his eyes and walking off. Keith sat there for a moment, completely and utterly confused. How do you fix something like that? He shrugged it off and continued eating his food goo. After all, this wouldn't happen again.

Except it did.

The next was when Keith had been sitting by red, strengthening his bond with her. He'd heard footsteps on the hard metal floor and squinted his eyes open. Pidge had walked in the room, a pretty weird thing seeing the red lion wasn't hers. He ignored it for now and closed his eyes again, feeling the bond between him and his lion. Everything was peaceful until he felt a rather violent tap on his shoulder. Keith opened his eyes to see Pidge staring right at him.
