Gray's PoV
Pagkatapos ko maghapunan, naligo na ako para makapunta sa bahay nila Amielle. Sana naman hindi na nagtatampo yun sa akin.
"So babe, kamusta sila tita?" Ako na ang unang nagsalita nang magkatabi na kami sa queen size bed niya. Mukha kasing walang balak magsalita itong katabi ko.
"Ayos lang naman. Going strong sila ni papa. Ang sweet nga nila. Kung maglambingan daig pa nila ang teenager."
She has this perfect family and a place that can be called as home. While me? I don't know. I only have my sister and my mother. Yung tatay ko, hindi ko alam kung saang lupalop ng mundo nagtago pagkatapos iwan kami at mga utang niya.
Mayaman sila Amielle. Business tycoon ang tatay niya at full time housewife naman ang Nanay niya. Ayaw pagtrabahuin ni tito kasi daw baka mapagod si tita.They own resorts, malls, and they have their own toy company located here in the Philippines. She's the one and only heiress of Maldova.
"Ayaw mo ba nun? Para magkaroon ka na ng kapatid. Ano ba gusto mo? Babae o lalaki?" Mahina niya namang hinampas ang braso ko.
"Huwag ka ngang magbiro ng ganyan babe. Alam naman natin na kahit gustuhin kong magkaroon ng kapatid, hindi na pwede. Ang tanda na ni mama no." Malungkot na sabi ni Amielle.
Tita Amanda was 35 when she gave birth to Amielle. Hindi nabuntis agad si tita noong ikinasal sila ni tito Troy. I don't know the whole story and I don't want to know either kasi ayokong manghimasok.
Since ayokong malungkot itong kasama ko, niyakap ko nalang siya.
"Don't be sad babe. Kahit wala kang kapatid, hindi ka naman nag-iisa. Andito lang ako palagi para sayo. Buti nalang din at palagi kang umuuwi tuwing summer. Kung hindi, palagi sana akong mag-isa."
After I say those words, she hugged me back. I feel like I am safe every time she do this.
"Babe, let us always be together okay? Maybe not forever but always. I am always here to guide and protect you."
She's so sweet. Ang swerte ng mga magulang niya dahil may maalaga silang anak. Swerte din ako kasi ako ang bestfriend niya pero mas swerte lalo ang mamahalin niya.
"Maka 'I will protect you' ka naman jan eh noong may humabol nga sa atin na aso iniwan mo ako."
Nag joke na ako to lighten up the mood.
"Hoy bituin, huwag ka ngang panira ng moment. Kung hindi ako tumakbo eh di nakagat na ako." Tawang-tawa na sabi niya. "Basta Gray, trust me. I will guide you. I will protect you no matter what will happen. You only need to listen and do what I say. Okay?"
Tumayo ako bigla at sumaludo. "Yes ma'am."
After that, tawa na kami ng tawa. Nagkulitan kami at nagkwentuhan hanggang makaramdam na ng antok.
END OF FLASHBACK.
"Gray gaano na kayo katagal mag bestfriend ni Amielle?" Tanong ni doc na nagpabalik sa akin sa kasalukuyan.
"Uhm. Since high school po."
"Sabi mo na hindi kayo pareho ng school na pinag-aralan when the both of you were still in high school. So how did you became friends?" Karagdagang tanong nito.
Napakunot ako ng noo. Naguguluhan na din ako sa sarili ko. I am well aware na sa Baguio ako nag aral. Siya naman sa Manila.
"We became friends through social media. I was suffering that time and I received a comforting message from her." I honestly said to the doctor.
"So what do you feel every time she's around or when you're together?" Dumoble ang ngiti ko sa tanong na iyon ni doc.
"Pakiramdam ko po safe ako. alam ko na mapagkakatiwalaan siya. Alam niya yung nararamdaman ko. She's always saying that she'll guide and protect me."
"How much do you trust your bestfriend Gray?"
"I trust her so much more than I trust someone. I know my secret is safe with her." I cannot control myself from saying those words. This doctor is not forcing me to speak. Maybe this is the effect of being hypnotized.
"So you are saying that, Amielle do exists in your world. Right?" He's stating the obvious. Of course Amielle do exist. Nakakasama ko nga.
"Yes." Tipid na sagot ko sa kanyang tanong.
"You mentioned a while back that someone already hypnotized you. Correct?"
I nodded as a response.
"Matagal mo na bang kilala ang taong ito?"
"No. He is actually a stranger." Pag amin ko.
"Why did you trusted him?"
"I can't resist him. When he talked to me, it feels like my brain recorded his voice. He doesn't look like a bad guy tho." Napasunod niya kasi ako sa sinabi niya.
"What did he say Gray?"
"He said he will teach me a skill or improve my ability that can benefit everyone." Malaking tulong nga ang ginawa ni Mr. Sarmiento sa akin.
"Pwede mo bang sabihin sa akin kung ano ang tinuro sayo? Alam ba ni Amielle ang tungkol dito?"
"Yes. Yes." Sabi ko habang tumatango. "Amielle knew about this. As a matter of fact, this is a secret of mine."
I shouldn't say that. Sana hindi na siya magtanong pa.
"What secret Gray? Can you please tell me?" Hindi ako nakapagsalita agad. Trying to stop my blabbermouth. But I can't resist him .
"I know how to hypnotize."
