We four went to Papa Johns, Eric asked for my favorite one, bbq chicken. We sat on a table, David sat next to me while Eric and Cass sat in front of us.

"Let's eat" Eric said excited grabbing a slice.

Everyone was eating, I slowly grabbed a slice for myself but ate it with caution, for some reason I didn't want to look like a pig in front of David. I stared at him eating, he looked so funny trying not to drop any chicken, he suddenly glanced at me. I blushed and immediately looked away.

"What?" he asked smiling.

"No—nothing!" I yelled quickly feeling my cheeks burn.

"I'm a mess when it comes to eat stuff with hands" he laughed.

"Why don't you ask for a fork and a knife..." I said wondering.

"Too girly" he laughed.

"Too girly? What's that supposed to mean!" I sarcastically yelled, he laughed.

"I eat with fork and knife" Cass said smiling.

"I do too but only when the pizza it too thin and you can't properly grab it" I laughed.

"So you guys know the news?" Eric interrupted.

"What news?" Cass asked intrigued.

"The seniors are doing a black list" he said glancing at me.

"Don't tell me they're going to bully everyone in it" I said with a sigh.

"Probably, I bet it's O'Brien's fault, gee that kid has some major problems" Cass sarcastically said.

"Why is he like that though?" David asked confused.

"No idea, he just is" I said looking away.

"Hm... do you guys know him?" David asked looking straight at me.

"Uh? No, we don't—" I said when Eric interrupted me.

"Aria likes to argue with him, last time I thought he was going to punch her, man he's scary" Eric said.

"That's not true... he didn't— He wasn't going to punch me or anything like that I just stopped him from punching a kid—"

"So you got in the way" David said with a worried look.

"But—"

"Aria likes justice but sometimes it's better to keep out" Cass suggested.

"I know... it's just that if I can protect these kids I will" I said with a sigh, getting up from the table.

"Where are you going?" Cass asked.

"Outside, I'll be back in minute" I said walking out of the restaurant.

I sat on a bench that was right outside, I rested my elbows on my legs and held my head.

"Why do you care?" someone said sitting next to me.

"Because I used to be bullied, I hate that crap" I said looking at David.

"I get it, but I don't think they're nice at all, it might be really dangerous, you should listen to Cass, Aria" David said worried.

"I know, but trust me I'm not stupid, I know when to give up and I know O'Brien is not a bad kid, I just need to know why he does what he does, maybe I can change what happens at school" I said looking away.

"Why bother? They're seniors, they'll be gone in no time" he smiled.

"Because we still have the whole year left, and lots of things can happen, I've seen him acting different from what people usually see"
