(Notice: updated from phone, short update)

I got up from my bed sitting and looking at my phone, I had a text message from David.

"Aria, are you okay? I lost you at the party"

I tried to text him back but the phone rang.

"Aria thank God, are you okay?"

"Yeah Im good, I was about to answer your text" I said he chuckled.

"Are you free later? We could go have lunch-"

"I already have plans with Cass... sorry" I interrupted.

"Aw sucks..." he reluctantly said.

"Ill call you later, maybe I finish earlier"

"Earlier?"

"I gotta do homework with her" I laughed.

"Oh okay" he laughed.

We hung up and I leaned on my bed, Dylan was bouncing on my mind.

Cass and I were sitting by the living room with some books on the table.

"The party was crazy" she suddendly said.

"Crazy? Thats the least you could call it" I laughed.

"Jayden, Eric leaving with Chris-"

"Eric left with Chris?"

"Yeah I havent spoken to him though" she chuckled.

"I see" I said immediately thinking about Dylan.

"What about you? David and you werent together, something wrong?" she asked, knowing something was off.

"I think we should stay friends"

"You didnt even hesitate" she said impressed.

"Theres no need to, I know we dont work together, but we can be friends..."

"Have you told him yet?" she asked worried.

"Not yet but I will" I said looking down.

"You make a good couple-"

"But sometimes thats nos enough, remember how you and Garret met?"

"Right, it was an accident, he dropping my book when I was coming out of the coffee store" she said with a smile.

"You knew he had similar tastes since you both went to the coffee shop to read books, you started out friends but the chemistry was already there" I said smiling back.

"Yeah it just happened"

"Spontaneously"

"I know what you mean, well youll be back to your old single self" she joked.

"Id say look whos talking but... meanie!" I yelled laughing.

"But Aria seriously, dont just ignore him until he gets tired of trying, tell him straight ahead"

"I wont Cass-"

"I know how you are and how you can avoid breaking someones heart" she said concerned.

"What makes you think Ill break his heart?"

"He likes you, everyone can see that" she let out a sigh.

I kept that thought in my mind, it was a bit harder to be straigh honest knowing I might break his heart but I couldnt just keep on going with a lie.

"Hey girls" my brother said entering the room.

"B-Beau?!" Cass yelled.

"Perfect timing hey pass on the coke from the fridge" I said pointing the kitchen.

"Cass, you two doing homework?" he asked walking to the kitchen.

"Y-Yeah" she said turning red.

"I though you were over this crush" I whispered to Cass.

"Hey has been Jayden upsetting you?" Beau asked.

"No" I said glancing st Cass, she rolled her eyes.

"For real? Because if he is just tell me, Ill fucking chop his eyes out" he said mad.

"Thats exactly why I wouldnt tell you even if he was" I rolled my eyes, Cass looked down.

"Dont you think is fair for me to protect you from guys like him that only want to get in your pants?" he said highlighting that last line.

"I dont need it, Ive been doing just fine since you left" I said.

"True but still, Cass just tell me if that jerk is annoying my sister, to put him on his place, he thinks now because hes making money he can have underage girls? No way" he said looking at Cass with a smirk.

"Alright" Cass said nodding.

"But like do it" he insisted.

"I will" she said glancing at me.
