"Aria, I'm so glad you could come" David said opening the door.

"It's alright" I said stepping inside his home.

"I mean it, it gets a bit lonely most of the time and there's nothing like homemade cooking" he smiled.

"I know" I said with concern.

I began preparing the food we planned on eating for dinner, I was looking forward to make a nice and tasty lasagna. David stood beside me watching me while I cooked, as soon as I finished I asked him to put on the dishes on the table.

"Dinner's ready" I said with a kind smile.

"It looks delicious Aria" he said smelling his dish.

"I hope it tastes delicious aswell" I said lookind at the food.

"Let's see" he said grabbing a fork and having a bite.

I looked at him while his face turned into a huge smile.

"Oh my God Aria, I didn't know you could cook like this" he said impressed.

"Phew I'm glad you liked it" I said relieved.

We had dinner and then we took the dishes to the kitchen, I walked to the balcony and leaned on it to watch the city.

"Aria?" he said leaning next to me.

"Yes?" I asked glancing at him.

"Do you..." he said taking a pause.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Uhm... do you like hanging out with me?" he finally asked, nervous.

"Would I be here if I didn't?" I sarcastically said with a giggle.

"True" he said embarrassed.

"Of course I do David" I said smiling, he touched my hand.

"I'm glad to hear that" he smiled.

He then leaned closer to kiss me, we kissed and then I pulled away.

He looked at me and smiled.

"The sun is starting to set, I guess it's time to take you home" he nicely said, walking inside his apartment.

"David" I called out to him, he turned around.

"Yes?" he asked looking at me.

"Can we stay a bit longer?" I asked, looking straight into his eyes.

"But your dad-"

"I'll talk to him" I interrupted him smiling.

"Okay" he said walking towards me again.

"Tell me more" I said looking away.

"More about what?" he asked confused.

"About you and your life back in Canada" I said wondering.

"Oh, well... my life in Canada..." he began to say.

We stayed for a couple hours more, just talking about his friends and the hobbies he used to like when he lived there. Then he took me home.

I entered the classroom and walked towards Dylan, who was sleeping on the back of the room. I shook his arm to wake him up.

"For God's sake, what?!" he yelled lifting his head.

"Have you been fighting again Dylan?" I asked upset.
