y/n pov

i love him, i really do.

but do we have time to get married?

we're both busy.. and i don't think i can handle it.

the thought of marriage, it always amazes, scares me. but as long as its with him–– in place. everything's perfect.

i mean, where could it all go wrong?

every time i voice out my opinion about marriage, he avoids.

why?

i look at the phone, which shows our messages together.

: let's break up,|

i type in, hesitating. just at the right moment before i hit send, "wife! i'm home!" his voice ring out in my ears, making me perk up and leave my phone.

"where have you been?" i ask.

"to a job interview, look, i bought you your favorites! they want me as a project manager already~" he cooed, which made me crack up a smile. "anyways, jisung is back from states! can i borrow your phone and text him? my phone's out." i nonchalantly nodded my head, drooling over the food.

as i got some plates, i realized something. i ran to the living room where he was, staring blankly at the phone.

---

next time i knew, we were facing each other on the dining table, in front of the food.

"let me explain." we said in unison, which made me frustrated.

"let me say it first." i said, hard-headed.

"no, let me say mine first."

"please, just one sentence!"

"no! i know what you're going to say!" we shouted at each other as i grabbed my phone and typed a few words, then sent it to him.

"look at your phone and read."

"i don't want to."

"woo jiho!" i yelled, tears pooling my eyes. he hesitantly grabbed his phone but threw it lightly on the table.

"im not going to."

"well then, you say it,"

"okay," he covered his face with his hands, "you eat that sushi," i cried and cried, sobbed and sobbed at the same time with his, "and this is the last day you'll be my girlfriend." i gasped lightly, but i knew too well that this was bound to happen.

"you call me wife since we got together, now i should've ought this to happen." i grabbed the chopsticks, "you never really thought of marrying me." i muttered, but since we and our house was quiet, of course he was able to hear it. i grab for the sushi that was in front of me, still sobbing. i slowly took a bite of it.

we both stayed quiet and sobbing while i was chewing slowly and softly, getting something hard from the sushi.

i nearly choked to death, coughing it out.

as i took a grasp of the hard one on my mouth, i sobbed more. i look at him in disbelief who was now smiling at me lovingly.

"who the fuck would put a ring on a sushi!" i stood up, but happy. "only you.. zico." i squat down, crying harder than i ever did.

"aw come on, you liked the surprise!" he hugged me and lift me up lightly, swaying side-wards. as he set me down, he looked at me intently on my eyes. "marry me." he smiled.

i'm literally bawling my eyes out as i nodded furiously, then hugged him once again.

he got the ring that i was tightly grasping and got my hand.

"don't! that still has rice on it!" despite my curses, he still put it on.

---

"you didn't read my text though," he shrugged.

"i knew since you were born, who wouldn't know how stubborn you are? you'll say, 'let's break up if you wouldn't propose tonight', am i right?" he chuckled.

i slapped his arm again and again.

"how could you know me that much?" then i snuggled on his neck again.
