3rd pov
you tremble as you walk faster, constantly weary of the man who was inching to you minute by minute in broad daylight.
"fuck," you stutter as you turn a wrong way, a narrow street where nearly a soul is found. as if light on a tunnel, on the farthest part of the street, you see another man who was naturally sipping on his coffee.
you glance another time on your back and saw that the man was still following you, obviously checking you out. you take a deep breath, and as you reach the man on the other end, you hop to him.
"oppa!" you jump in front of him which startled him. h gave you a wide-eye look and he was weirded out. "i'm really sorry," you fiddled with your fingers, "did you wait long?" since the man behind you can't see your face, you fake smiled in front of the guys in front of you.
"...yes?" he hesitantly said and finally took notice of your frightened face. "where have you been anyways?" he spun you around and hung his arm over your shoulder, dragging you out of the empty street. "i was on my way to the studio anyway, let's go there," he continued to talk to you until you reached a gate and let you inside.
"i'm really sorry for bothering you."
"its okay, its okay." he smiled at you and you both looked around, avoiding eye contact as it was very awkward. "but next time, approach a girl, i'm a guy too, how could you approach me back like that?" he lightly chuckles which made you hiccup. you confusingly hit your chest from hurting, and smiled at him.
"i'm sorry, but there was no one else in the street and that didn't cross my mind. thank you for helping me." you politely bowed. "i should go." you thank him once again but before you go outside the gate, he stops you.
"you're already here. you're still trembling so grab a drink before you go. in any case, he might still be waiting for you outside. its just been a few minutes," he warily says and smiles at you which unconsciously made you assured.
"but aren't you a stranger also?" you chuckled, your anxiousness slowly fading away.
"i'm im siwan, are we fine now? go inside," he leaned his palm on his knees to be on your eye level, making your heart beat faster.
what the fuck? he's a stranger!
you thought. but at the positive side, you were happy you asked help from him.
"how would you know i'm not a thief?" you squinted your eyes on siwan and you both chuckled.
"you wouldn't have said that then," he pushes you inside as you step in on a neat studio.
"idol? if not, singer? what job?" you interestingly looked around as you saw many music.. equipments.
"i'm an idol. i'm surprised you don't know me." he says as he grabs you a drink from the fridge. "but i'm also an actor, my group is currently working on solo and i'm.. freelancing songwriting." you gasp as you look around again, getting the drink from his hands. "sit here," he pats a sofa and sits beside it.
"weirdly, i feel like i've known you for a long time," you chuckled and took a sip of the cold water.
"me too," he smiles and once again it was awkward.
"what were you doing and where were you headed anyway?" he started which made you breathe.
"i came from a friend's house and my house was only a walking distance until someone started following me. so to lose him, i had to go anywhere and ended up in that empty street." you explained. he nodded and again, silence.
"what job?" he started once again which made you both chuckle.
"i'm not on any job right now. i'm trying to find a temporary job because i don't want any permanent ones."
"oh... i think i got you one." he started rummaging through his pocket and got his phone, then started contacting someone. you started getting interested so you waited patiently. "hello, ceo! yes.. yes. yes, i think i got someone perfect for the job. yes. she'll manage as my manager. don't worry too much." you started sinking every information on your mind as you jump up.
"manager?!" you mouth to him who was still talking on the phone. you stared at him in disbelief until he got off the call. "you don't even know me and i'm perfect for the job? you're unbelievable!" you scoff, trying to deny reality. "i clearly said i don't want any permanent jobs!"
"then take this temporarily!" he insisted and smiled at your whining. "take this as the opportunity for paying me back for helping you." he chuckled and gave you his phone.
"what?"
"your number."
"no! i didn't even agree to it yet," you scowl at him jokingly.
"you don't get to think of that. i do, i was the one who helped you." he chuckled and you knew you lost already so you got his phone and angrily typed your number on it.
"i don't even know what managers do!" you whine once more.
"don't worry. you're not my manager." he quietly smiles while looking at his phone you just gave back. you blink twice, confused.
"what?" you furrow your eyebrows.
"i just wanted to get your number," he straightforwardly said and showed you his phone with your number on it, your name with a heart.
"the hell?"
"you're not my manager, but you're going to be my future girlfriend." he smiles at you and your heart started beating out of beat, losing control.
"smart bitch," you mumble as you quietly smiled.
